New Endurance Radials will be installed soon...Since 4/2018 I figure I've dragged this thing around 18k miles and it weighs 5,775 with all my stuff in it.

Okay, I was asking because I wanted to judge mines tires I don't have that many miles on it yet but probably I can go one more or two season left on my tires.

Put a strip of 1 1/4” wide foam weatherstrip along the edge of the luan “shelf” where the plywood bed platform overlaps. Hoping to fill the small gap and cut down on a slight draft at night when it’s cold. Worked great, but I realized that there’s still a decent gap at the head of the bed where the plywood and shelf meet the front of the trailer (see arrow). Not sure yet what to use. Maybe a thin piece of styrofoam cut to match the curved wall? Of maybe just stuff a small towel in there at night? (Not very classy). Any ideas welcome!

I would use the same foam strips for the headboard side as well...smaller version probably, so as not to put to much pressure on the board when raised...from the way I can see it in the picture...

Replaced Water Heater Relay - Again!

After three months, finally got everything out of my basement compartment, took down the wall partition and replaced the water heater relay on the back side of the water heater - hopefully that fixed the electric side of the water heater.... will know in an hour or so....

Aired the tires, and started loading food and clothing as instructed before leaving Monday for a short week at Myrtle Beach.

Here’s a better shot. It’s actually a pretty sizable opening. Two pieces of something flexible would work — just not sure what.

Removed all toiletries and anything else that could freeze from inside the camper. Removed the TV and the battery as well. I'm done for the year and only got 3 trips in this season. Very disappointing but work just kept getting in the way. I'll be winterizing next week.

Shhhhh......It't too early for that winterizing talk.

In all seriousness, we are camping this weekend and then we have one more reservation for next weekend. It is amazing how quick this season went.

On the docket for repairs this fall is stitching more areas of the awning lights back on and giving this thing a good bath and wax. It looks terrible being this dirty.

Since it looks like we are grounded until spring, I took advantage of the perfect weather to bring it up to the house and flush and drain the WH and blow out all the water lines. Before that, however, I ran the pump to check the flow through the new check valve I installed recently in the line coming out of the water pump. Worked great — good pressure and no leak. Hooked to city connect and, in reverse, the valve did its job. Again, no leaks.

Debating whether to wash and wash it tomorrow before taking it back to the RV yard. Maybe Midnightmoon will come out and do it for me?

Lol, I'm with you on this one Midnightmoon, I'm hoping to get one more trip before I even think about winterizing but I don't know because I see myself busy from now unto the end of the year.

Yeah, that's fairly large opening for sure....I was looking for about the same thing to fill some gaps in the basement/floor....was considering this soft foam...cut to size/shape...

Yes, I was thinking along the same lines — maybe thinner and stiffer and glue it to the luan.
