Freshwater tank strap broken

The metal strap holding the freshwater tank in place was broken in my 195 RB. I mounted a 2x4 on the floor and screwed the strap onto it. Also the divider between the tank compartment and the basement was loose and I attached to front wall with webbing and bracket.

Quite alright. When a cord broke on it, the DW got upset, and said she broke the screen. Hadn't had enough coffee yet I guess.

Our old '96 Wilderness had mini blinds on all the windows. Open windows and a night breeze, and they rattled like crazy!

MEC MEGR-253P Finally

While not installed yet, I was able to finally find a MEC MEGR-253P to replace the current regulator that is on recall...... now to find a qualified LP installer in the area to install it!

Why don’t you just install it yourself? Just use Teflon tape rated for gas and check for leaks when you’re done.

I was going to do it myself as I do most things, and got the stuff to do so...then reading the warnings on the package about certified LP installer doin the work, etc...got me to thinking otherwise...but probably will do it myself...I have one of those LP Gas leak detector devices and it worked well when I sealed the end of the Oven LP connector once I removed our gas oven...has been holding well...but never messed with a regulator before...

Decided it was time to get acquainted with the roof of our Pinnacle, so I headed upstairs with a bucket, Dawn, water hose and a boat pole and brush. It took 3 trips to get it all upstairs. The roof material?? appears to be a long single sheet laid over the entire roof. Then the AC units, Winegard, skylights and all else were sealed with something different. It all looks good, cleaned up well however it is a white roof and lots of stains that will not come off. Thought about using Clorox but though better of it. Later I went back and treated the 3 AC units with 303 Aerospace protectant. I bought hydraulic brakes 3 months ago and the installer will be here the 28th, looking forward to that. After that it will get a good bath

Check out the 18V Ryobi rotary brush that extends. There are three different heads available from soft to coarse. I used the semi coarse head for my roof and it works great, cut the scrub time by more than half.

We got the disk brakes from Performancetrailerbraking.com. They were recommended to us on this site. They can also do other things if you want to spend more money, lol. Here was the price breakdown at the time we ordered them.

"The current price of your disc brake kit is $2625 and the install would be an additional $1000 which is paid directly to the installer at the time of install.

However, we always recommend that customers who have 1/2 inch studs (as you do) upgrade to the 8,000 pound kit which is identical to the 7,000 pound kit except that it has 9/16 inch studs which will give you a little beefier stud and a larger outer bearing...in other words, more peace of mind. The two kits are the same price but you would need to purchase new lug nuts to fit the 9/16 inch studs which would be an additional $64 for your tandem axle trailer. Making the total of your kit $2689.

No need to change your tires. Most wheels are bored to fit a 5/8 stud so the 9/16 inch studs should fit just fine.

Approximately, 99% of our customers choose to go with this upgrade and we've never had an issue with the studs not fitting the wheels.

We will have an installer in your area around October timeframe if that works for you, please let me know so I can contact him"

Parts Labor Total
Disc Brake Conversion (Tandem) $2,625.00 $1,000.00
9/16 Lug nuts $64.00 $0.00
$2,689.00 $1,000.00 $3,689.00

It does look nice but will it take out the stains in the white roof?

UPDATE: Did install the MEGR-253 regulator myself after I was able to find the matching set of MEC hoses with the flared 1/4" NPT ends...a little yellow tape on the connections and
works like a charm with no leaks......

Generator prep

I measured up for an Onan 5.5 in my 2016 Pinnacle which is prepped for the Onan but how do I get the gas lines from the installed gas tank to the generator bay, there’s no holes in that bay

Tracked down a water leak. When I hitched up after a big rain, water dripped from the front cap onto the pinbox. Then I notice water coming from the switches on the bottom side of the cap. Got on the roof and caulked some very small putty cracks, and a few more on the vertical seams.
Then I started checking the lights. I removed the hornet lights, and BINGO. They each had a wet, slimy 1/4" hole at the bottom for the wires to pass through. No gasket, putty, or anything. To make matters worse, the design funnels tons of roof water right to those holes. I caulked them up and am pretty sure that this was the source of the water. Pulled the fiberglass down enough to let the shop vac blow air in there all day. Click image for larger version

Good that you found it before too much damage...I'm always concerned with the four little lights up top on the Cap of ours...going to get up there and put some clear silicone on them just in case...

Finally got around to installing DWs priority one need - a Bidet ...

But as long as she is happy...supposed to cut down on toilet paper used...guess we'll find out... was a mess to find 1/2" tee, connectors, etc to get everything matched to size...what comes with this Bidet was for house toilet connection not 1/2" connections...

Me too. I have a bunch of those lights. Tried to remove one today, and couldn't figure out how not to crack it. I decided the same thing- will clear silicone all of them.
