Here's a few pic's to show the counter and the access...

Very nice! Good choices on the table and the theater seating. My wife would die for that much counter space. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for pics as they "paint" a much clearer picture. My wife likes the abundant counterspace. Heading down to Bath NY on Thursday to do a touchy feelie. Thanks again, perhaps we'll cross paths one day?

HTT came out of winter hibernation Friday. So I gave it a good bath today and gave it's annual spring inspection. Found about 15' of seams that need to be recaulked. That is the most I have had to do in one year . We have a lot of rain this week, so I will have to jump on it once it dries up and warms up. For now, I temporarily sealed everything with some electrical tape.

Really nice. Just curious, is there enough space to swap the theater seat with the table? Looks like swapping the two would allow for better access to the counter.

I made a post earlier that I had bought a new to me camper, it came from Southern Arizona so the sun was brutal on it. And of course the previous owner got lazy about regular maintenance. Over the course of the last month, I’ve cleaned the roof several times, I sealed the roof vents, replaced the vent covers and added max air covers over the new vent covers.

This morning after one last scrubbing yesterday, I sealed the roof with RV FLEX REPAIR. I could not find a single bad review other than individuals voicing concern over the cost.
The 5 gallon pail showed up yesterday, the pail weighs almost 70 pounds! stuff is thicker than cake batter and took almost 15 minutes with a drill to get it thoroughly mixed up it was so thick. I did all the edges with a paintbrush and then poured it on the roof and tried using a roller. I didn’t like how thin the roller applied the product, so I used the paint brush on the entire roof.

According to the manufacturer, I should need over 6 gallons to do a 33’ RV. However, that does not take into account the vent covers, solar panels, AC units etc. that take away square footage of the roof that needs to be actually sealed. I bought the 5 gallon pail, than if you bought it by the gallon itself.
I used a solid 3 gallons even after using a paintbrush. I’ll give it a couple of days to dry, then go up there with a black marker, mark any areas that need to be re-covered and address those areas.

https://rvflexrepair.com/products/si...ealant-coating

EDIT: It’s been five solid hours since I finished the roof. I put the ladder on the front of the camper just to see how it’s drying. And since the front is probably closer to six hours of drying time… The roof feels like a very thick rubber mat. I have to say this stuff feels like the real thing, time of course will tell how it holds up.

Wanted to wash it, but because of our drought and water rationing, washing cars and RVs is a big no-no. So I gave the front and back a “sponge bath” with a bucket and pole brush, getting the worst grime, bugs etc off. Waxed both, too. I tried to put my lightweight cover back on but I couldn’t compete with the wind. It would blow off one side as soon as I got it up there. It’ll have to wait.

Restrung all 5 blinds. Since they are attached to the valence, it was easier to take the valence down then remove the blind from it. The easiest part was replacing the string.

Chi — Did you order a specific kit? If so, where from?

We just installed a keyless latch on the door, and cameras (back and sides) on our 2020 317RLOK. Our first trip is planned for the Air Show at Ellsworth AFB the middle of May. Hope the weather cooperates! Looking forward to this season, as last year we missed several months due to Covid.

No kit, I ordered from www.blindparts.com: https://blindparts.com/product/levol...ft-cord-black/. The 1.4mm is a little thinner than the old cord but seems to be working.

Stayed at Ellsworth for three nights a couple of years ago. Great FamCamp!

1st AC done

Did the first of 2 AC with 3d printed bits from RustyNuts.

https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ods-81502.html

Note to self and anyone else paying attention.

PS. Might have to tape deflector to fiberglass panel too.

Regards,

John

Picked up a 5X5 8' vinyl fence post along with end caps today. Next nice day I'll be mounting it underneath. Will be drilling some small holes along the length for ventilation. Haven't figured out how I'll secure the end caps yet?

Lots of ways...hinge and clasp, spring clips...
I took the cheap way with stuff I had on hand...few small nuts n bolts, tie wrap, and those small mini bungee's we all seem to have on hand. Used the same on our last rv and the bungees lasted 9 years before they were streched and due for replacement.
