Good catch! It’s kind of like a treasure hunt — find the factory screwup in your trailer that’s causing the problems. Hint: It will be in the hardest place to reach and work on.

Nice day today so I brought it to the house to restring a blind, and then to the do it yourself car wash to spray off all the pollen. It’s stored in a covered spot and still had a nice yellow tint to it.

Car wash has a tall bay for trucks which comes in handy for a quick rinse. Just a little tricky backing out and getting turned around to depart.

Crawled into the engine compartment, wired brushed the rust off the 20 exhaust manifold studs and nuts, then coated with phosphoric acid. They weren't actually in a bad state, but didn't want to be dealing with a leaking manifold down the road because a stud had rusted off.

I mounted a storage box on the back of my 33RBTS. Love the new camper but it definitely lacks outdoor storage space. I did weld a support structure under it. Well, I am teaching my son how to weld and let him make the welds. They aren't pretty but they are structurally sound...

A friend is making me a tray for my small generator that I'll be mounting on my bumper. I bought a set of the bumper braces that I have to mount up.

I finally dewinterized it this weekend. I also sanitized the water system, cleaned the inside real good and found no evidence of mice!

Usually we have a trip in April but it has been so cold this year that we have not gone yet. Our first trip is this weekend and highs are in the mid-50s. That's a little cold for early May.

Put new shocks on the camper and found bad bearings on rear axle…ordered 4 new bearings. Probably going to just buy a press and do it myself. I figure if I have to spend the money to have somebody press the bearings in I might as well just buy the press myself and then at least I have the press.

Quick inspection after heavy rain and 70 mph winds last night.
No damage found that couldn't be rectified in a few minutes.
Im glad it wasn't broadside.

Installed the caps and set up the parameters on my new TireMinder TPMS system. Easy peasy.

Started booking sites for our trip in Aug out to Monument Valley, Zion & Bryce NP and of course the GC! We are leaving ourselves 18 days to get out there. Head back home in early Oct. Planning on trying out a few Harvest Host sites.

It’s back!

Finally got the TT back from the dealer after replacing the recalled propane regulator this weekend, installed Sumosprings (love them already) and the Ford pro-trailer assist sensor (question if I’ll ever use it), and got most of the dewinterizing done (just need to flush the water lines). Anxiously waiting for the provincial parks to open up.

Took on 40 gallons of soft water, turned on the fridge, water heater and tested the furnace and AC. All good to go for our trip to Tucson this weekend where it's predicted to be 100 degrees.

Tomorrow I'll air up all the tires and refill an empty propane bottle. Last time I bought propane was last November @ $1.94 a gallon....tomorrow I'll be paying $6.40!

Installed the Lippert Solid Stance step stabilizer that member "Colorado" recommended. Makes a huge difference, thx John.

Would be a good time to use something like Liquid Wrench on all of your nuts and bolts to help in removal. Especially on the bolts going through the shackles where the splines make them difficult to remove. Lots of helpful hints on YouTube as well. Be safe, use proper jack stands to hold the frame off the ground and not just jacks. I did one side on a Saturday, the other side on Sunday. Make sure the lube holes on the bolts are at the 3 or 9 o’clock position when installed. Use a torque wrench on all nuts. Don’t be afraid to ask for

Thanks. Carport is 13 feet wide, so will be pulling it out onto the concrete to do the work. Asphalt just sucks to use jacks and stands on, and on the street side, I'll be in the shade all day. Have a set coming for the single axle ATV trailer, be here tomorrow...may do it first just to get "acclimatized". Will also give me a chance to change the tv antenna that was destroyed by roof cross member (low hanging steel).

Removed the five bolts (1/2") on the drivers seat plate in my 2016 Alante and slid it forward to the next hole ( about 1 1/4" ). Much better.

Replaced one jack ram, found water leak, pulled up tiles, fixed leak, took down headliner in cab, put it back on, finished floor in slide.
