Last trip DeMotte to Nappanee, IN, about 90 miles each way 2 lane road with about 20 miles interstate and some mileage unhooked averaged 6.8 mpg on the truck meter. Added the air tabs as noted earlier, only on the top, not the sides. Did change oil and rotate tires on the truck also. 300 miles from DeMotte to Frankenmuth MI, with about 100 miles unhooked, about 680 miles total. Mostly interstate, but the last 35 miles home on both trips the same. Averaged 8.3 on the way there, went up to 9.4 unhooked and to 8.4 when I got home. The truck did feel like here was less drag. Did seem like the truck would stay in overdrive longer before downshifting to 5th. When big rigs would pass, most of the time it felt like the sideways push was less but not all the times. Drive around 65 mph without the tow mode locked in. Overall I feel the airtabs did improve the driving experience. Was surprised on the mpg improvement. I added the airtabs to the top rear of the truck cap years ago and thought I saw maybe .5 mpg gain.

gave it a good power wash yesterday, put air in the tires, checked batteries, scrubbed wheels and tires and sprayed tires with 309 protectant. Last week scrubbed roof with water and Dawn detergent. Getting ready for a trip Friday

Replaced the crappy Ventline bathroom fan with a Maxxair. Much better! Hopefully I won't have to replace the motor in that one every couple of years...

A couple more simple mods to the trailer - vertical support struts in the dinette seats and changed out the bathroom faucet.

Replaced cups and cones with genuine Timken which are still made in the USA. Did Eternabond around the bathroom sky light. Have new Endurance tires at America's Tire to be installed this week.

Looks great, Colby! Where did you get the faucet? Do they make a matching kitchen version?
Was the dinette bracing just a precaution or did you see a problem? Thanks!

The one we got was this one - https://www.moen.ca/products/Hensley...et/WS84411MSRN, I haven't been able to find a matching model in the kitchen line; however, we will probably move to a single lever pull down at some point in time, and I am sure my DW will be able to find one that aligns with her design requirements...
As for the supports, I had an issue in our old pop-up that had a similar build where someone leaned (or stood... no one is sure what happened...) on the back edge and it bent. a few short pieces of 1x2 and a few screws for my own ease of mind.

Good thinking. I’m finding preventive measures are a must for trailers. Any problems installing the Moen, other than playing contortionist in the vanity?

I'm the same way, better to anticipate and overengineer
The Moen was plug and play. Undid the pipes from the old faucet, removed old faucet, installed new and screwed the pipes back on. No change in connection, it was really, really easy. One of the simplest upgrades yet.

Good to hear. Was the faucet off the shelf at HD or Lowes?
So, I looked under my dinette seat and lo and behold it was built with a sort of ledger board brace already screwed to the wall. One less fix!

Off the shelf at HD.
Another bonus for having the QBW! They have some extras covered off.

New dinette, pulled bulkheads
I added a dinette of sorts. We took out the old one and built this to provide more storage, easier access, and a larger table (the table extends and leafs ate stored in the end of the table, the drawers can have a pad on top which provides more seating).
Took the bulkheads off to attempt to fix body flexing squeaks and seal the floor area around the bulkheads

Attempt number 2 at adding DC to DC converter
I attached the dc2dc converter on downstream side of the built in battery isolator. The current draw on the alternator went up enough to hear a strain on the belt and output dropped to 12v. This was on a charged set of lithium batteries. So, will try again, maybe on the upstream side (direct connect to chassis batteries) though I don't like this because it will attempt to charge from the chassis batteries when parked. More to come.

Replaced the dark heavy wood panel on the fridge with a magnetic dry erase board. Now I have room for the magnets I like to collect from the National Parks/Monuments we visit. Also installed an AcuRite 986 wireless fridge thermometer which conveniently has a magnetic mount. No more opening the fridge or freezer to check on things now. I have another magnetic dry erase panel on the way to replace the panel on the freezer door.

Replaced the door lock. Had a weird incident.
Accidentally used the CH751 in the slam lock. It unlocked the door. A few days later, I tried again (on purpose), and the slam latch lock jammed, in the lock position.
New lock, is working great.

I see I was the last one too
Touched up the silicone caulking inside the TT, mostly in the bathroom. Shower wall had a long vertical split. Back splash to the bathroom sink looked to be starting to crack. caulking under the faucet at the shower pan was loose. A small area in the kitchen also looked to be loosening up. All touched up, hopefully no future water issues.
