What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

What is the dealer doing to our jayco is the question.
In for warranty work along with adding a slide topper to prevent further water going into the camper. I didn't know I was supposed to dry or clean the top of the slide....
This should prevent most of the problem.
Looking forward to getting it back to give the 5th wheel a good cleaning and polish before going to the Good Sam Rally in Syracuse.

Just went through and cleaned it after sitting all winter. Tested water and propane and all electrical to ensure all is well. Thinking of heading to the family cottage for the weekend to open it for the season but high of 10 Celsius this weekend is not making things look to fun.

I towed mine 260 miles today from my home base to Panama City, FL where I will be for the next 4 months as a camp host. Arrived about an hour ago. I'm leveled and the a/c is on. Now to set up the satellite dish. You gotta have TV for a good nap.

Want to see my camp site? Go to Google Earth and search for:
30 8.384 N 85 44.600 W and then go to street view.
This picture was taken two years ago when I was on the same site. Home Sweet Home, at least for the next 4 months.

Installed the MorRyde Wet Bolt Kit on the Right Side this afternoon.
Removed Hubs, inspected brakes, packed bearings and replaced seal.

Found some issues,

1. On the Right Rear Brake, I found the Self Adjuster Spring that keeps the lever down and the cable tight was broken.

2. When doing the rear Spring on the right side, the front of the spring had no bushing in it at all, no evidence there was ever a bushing in the spring. Now I know where a lot of the noise was coming from.
Installed the Bronze Bushings that came with the Wet Bolt Kit in both springs on the right side.

Now to do the left side this weekend before ordering the brake parts to be sure there is nothing missing or wrong on the left side.
