We are all packed up and ready to go. Heading to Conneaut, Oh for the DDay re-enactment. www.ddayohio.us/schedule.htm. Looking to have a long weekend, and a fabulous time.

Yesterday I installed a IQ4, and then plugged all the holes/gaps where the bulk of the wiring passes thru the floor with stainless steel scrub pads/expanding foam, lubed the steps and awning, ran the generator for ~45min and the AC, checked things out in general, and found some more stuff to do. LOL. Tried to teach the wife some of the things I've learned from here and other sources, but pretty sure it fell on deaf ears. LOL

Added the 5 inch vinyl fence post underneath the TT for sewer hose storage to eliminate the rear bumper storage....don't need a rusty rear bumper and it sounds like from those more experienced RV'ers, that's what I was headed for in time.

Floor

Replaced all the flooring. I discovered I'm not as young as I thought I was. The A/C flipped the breaker and it was 103 outside.

Yesterday; flushed the HWH and all water lines, checked tire pressure, tried unsuccessfully to wire a dimmer switch into my awning light, ordered new shower hose and IR repeater (for the stereo remote, so we can use it in the bedroom), ran the awning out to dry after a much welcomed freak rainstorm... more tonight...

Got this idea from one of you forum members some time ago. I cut this stick the same length as my slide out and I place it on the ground before I back into a space to make sure I have enough room for the slide out.

Took a 2014 Greyhawk 31FK for a test drive and then told the dealer that we'd take it! We are to pick it up next Tuesday. :-)

Crawled under the WhiteHawk today and added spray foam insulation in the small gaps between the frame and the underbelly material....checked all that had been placed there by the factory.....hopefully it's now sealed good to keep any critters from getting in from underneath.

Got some parts in, and replaced the broken shower hose. I over torqued the factory hose on the new shower head when I installed it a while back, but I was quite a bit more gentle with this one. Installed in minutes, no leaks. Tonight's list is quite a bit longer, gotta buy the groceries, pack them, pack our clothes, open and check the propane, install an IR receiver for the stereo remote so it can be used in the bedroom... Can't wait to be burnin' gas! That reminds me! I need gas!

Enjoy!

I also put a new tap in the bathroom. Got rid of that little thing that just got the vanity soaked.

We were just there in July on our last tent camp. Bought a TT on the way home. Absolutely beautiful. We went diving but had equipment issues so that wasn't good. But that whole area is awesome.

Made reservations for our next adventure. 3 days at Lake Rawlings Va for a Dive Rite scuba demo day. Gonna put the new TT thru the paces as we will only have an electric hook up. No water no sewer no dump station. Gonna be an adventure.
