The project is a 1997 jayco eagle 10 I traded a shotgun for it, the exterior isn't all that bad but the trim around the roof is coming off the cocking has came loose so I'm going to redo that and the canvas can be used for another year but I may replace it come tax time just so its done but the counter tops are scraped up and in need of replacing and there is a front board that needs replaced both on the box and the front of the roof the rest has been completely redone as far as flooring and the rest of the walls go ill post pictures as we get it done,

Install some extra ply finished shelving in the upper cabinets of the 198RD (matching color, that way it is easier to access things and not so pilled up. Next job is a 24 W x 16" H door to access the under bed storage with a matching door. Lifting the queen mattress is a job and half.

Winterize. Seal all the "water catchers" with silicone sealant. Calling for rain tonite, or I would have sealed the roof too. The roof is in decent shape though.

After a nice weekend camp, I drained the lines and HW tank, as it is getting cold at night. One more trip over Thanksgiving, then it will be put to bed for the winter.

Cleaned out and winterized. Wash and wax comes tomorrow, then off to the dealer for a laundry list of warranty work. Looks like it's going to be in the shop for a while.

Winterized it ... Had to remove shelves and back in the front closet to get to the washer dryer water lines to open them so I could drain them .... Sort of a dumb design ....and I would like to know who all knew the low point drains for hot and cold lines pull up to drain .... They sure looked to me just like the drains for the fresh water tanks which turn to open .... Feeling a little dumb maybe lol

so the other day I mentioned redoing our pop up and having my brother help me so we can spend time together I've considered it and I am going through with it so if i can have some ideas and opinions on the type of material I should use because we are gutting it and starting from scratch the setup will be about the same but there will be a difference in how its space is used according to our needs and ideas any opinions and ideas are appreciated

Moved the WD Drawbar with head 3 1/2 " forward by drilling a new 5/8" pin hole.
How shorter the ball is towards the axle how less the sway and also easier for backing up. When doing this be sure the tailgate still clears the Tongue Jack by a couple of inches. Oh what a fun when things come together.

Took my camper back to its storage location. Someone in the neighborhood complained that I had it on the street for a few days while I winterized it. Cops paid me a visit and showed me an ordinance that said it can't be on the street. The cop was awesome and didn't really want to tell me, since it's harmless, but they received a call at 5:30 am about it. Who in the world is so concerned about my camper at 5:30 am that they feel the need to call the cops. Anyway, I winterized it yesterday, so it was all set to go back anyways. Gotta love neighbors.

Put on my JOF decal. Also winterized it and removed the liquids (soap, cleaners, etc) that could freeze and make a mess. Old man winter will be here soon.

Put a new comforter on the bed over my new foam mattress.

Servicing the brakes and repacked and adjusted the bearings etc., done LH side things did look good. Also put some solder on brake wiring connections and finish connection with copper grease. If weather stays nice tomorrow the other side. When next Easter comes early April we're heading for the Okanagan Valley, BC, have to go over 4 passes, which done already more than hundred times. BC's mountains are never boring to drive trough.
Also we are scheduling some music entertainment at Senior Care Homes on our route.

My Jayco TT is still at Camping World for warranty work but, first thing they did was to winterize it.. thank goodness as the temperature here in Indiana will be in the mid 20's this weekend.

Put the pink koolaid in [emoji24] i don't like living in the north in the winter. One question do I need to somehow put the pink stuff in the black water flush? If so how? Thanks
