Brought her home from the dealer after having some warranty work done and put her to bed for the winter. Had a great first season...

Winterized her although I may use her the week between Christmas and new year's. Leaving for sea tomorrow and I don't want any issues when I come home if I do use it.

So finished yesterday the service on the RH suspension of TT 198RD. Brakes and bearings are in good shape. Also went from linear wiring to star wiring on the brake system. Also on the next service I will install 4 LED's what will tell me in an instant of any electric problem. The suspension is heavy enough and is about 1100 lbs. over rated. So now I'm ready to go in the spring. I have to make a hitch frame for the rear bumper yet to carry the bikes. Have all the parts but have to weld and bolt it together yet. Want a solid Hitch.

Charged the chassis battery.

Swapped the original mattress for an Avena Foam mattress. Seems to be much better.

Today is roof clean and treat day as well as a complete wash. Also will replace two dual pane windows that have "leaked". My dealer service manager will handle both jobs at my home base site. One big advantage to buying from a local dealer.

Our fiver is about 6 years old- It has been exposed to the elements 24/7- We had the roof painted with a liquid rubber solution- The roof looks very clean and shiny now- Next will be replacement of the tape used on the edge of the slide roofs- The tape has become brittle and is peeling in spots- Preventive maintenance is important to us- JMHO- DD

Well, not really today, but in the last week or so...
- Installed small shelves in wardrobe in bedroom to maximize use of the space in there.
- Adjusted the doors under the dinette storage. They were mounted a little high and would pop open when we sat down on the dinette seats.
- Changed out the standard cabinet closures on the dinette doors with rare-earth magnets and metal strips. The dinette flexes when the slide goes in and out, and those standard cabinet clasps were getting bent and pulling out, and the doors were popping open. The magnets will slide freely along the metal strip allowing the doors to move without opening.
- Toilet seal was leaking water again, so I coated it up real good with some Vaseline
- Had diamond plate on front repaired under warranty (detailed in another post)
- Had small hole in slide out roof repaired with Eternabond application down the entire front and rear edge of the slide out roof (also under warranty)

Now I just have to get the new kiddo and mamma ready to go to the beach! It would be a horrible shame to have to winterize the trailer without going out again...
- Had all seals (roof and walls) inspected for documentation purposes

Within the last few days, we have winterized and put on our new Adco cover and tire covers. Kinda sad knowing we won't be out again until spring.

Built and installed a new dinette table. Bought it used and one didn't come with it. Discovered I had left a light on and the battery had 1.2 volts left in it and won't take a charge. On the up side I found a test drove a new TV for it. Now to think about it over the weekend. A little older than I want but mileage and price is right.

Our 2014 White Hawk 29REKS is with the dealer for some warranty work. Looks like they may just keep it for awhile.

Actually I did this yesterday, but: Changed the generator oil and filter, removed the air filter for inspection. I had a replacement, but after 216 total hours it was still pristine. The black air tube behind the filter is still so clean that I couldn't leave a finger print on it, so I put the old filter back in for another year.

After the service I ran the generator for 1.4 hours under load. Normally I run it monthly for one hour, but I was watching a recorded TV program and didn't want to have to stop. Besides I have another couple of gallons of gas in the tank I want to completely empty before I refill with fresh non-ethanol gas with stabilizer.

You may have to look around a bit. There are only two places within 50 miles of me that sales non ethanol luckily one of them is only about 4 miles from my house.

I agree that in some areas you have to look around a bit. I am lucky as there is a station 1 mile from my home base here in Alabama and another one 15 miles away. In Florida where I host in the summers there is one right outside the entrance to the park.

I always keep StaBil Marine Formula in my generator gas regardless of ethanol or non-ethanol. The remaining 2-3 gallons in my generator gas tank does have ethanol in it which is he reason I'm running it dry before filling up again. When I was dry camping last month are a car race I had to get some ethanol gas as a last resort.
