Happy Birthday! and many more
you guys in Pennsylvania need to purchase a yearly sticker on the RV?
Ontario Canada hasn't caught on to that YET! Shhhhh. We get yearly stickers on TV, we get a licence plate for the RV but not required to get new sticker (in other words - no extra yearly taxes)

We have to register RVs ($30 yearly revenue generator for the state - lol) - but no personal property taxes! Annual equipment safety inspections are required for motor vehicles.

Thanks for the B-Day Wishes!!!!

We have the dreaded, despised, and often cursed personal property taxes here, along with yearly registration. But low Real Estate taxes so each state gets you somehow.

I would prefer paying the $30.00 a year for the trailer than the $3000.00+/year in property taxes. Yes, I really did write 3000.00+ and the folks in town are paying over 4000.00

What Did You Do To Your Jayco TODAY?

not to the Jayco but did "recycle" an old (good shape) outdoor swing cushion.
The QC Ram has seats which fold up and a platform that folds down flat in the back.
That's where the pooch go (except of course for Princess Mitsy, our Chihuahua which sits on my lap or her own bed up front). Last year, I had a blanket and beds back there, but with the swing cushion (water resistant), they have more room, are propped up a bit higher so they can see
they are not spoiled at all!

Hooked her up two her new tv. Readjusted the WDH. Drove around for about 45min. then parked her back in the driveway. It's the first time she moved since bringing her home. Next weekend will be her maiden voyage!

Right behind you Crabman.
I touched up the Dicor caulking on the roof.
Tested all systems, pressurized the water, checked hot water tank and wife took a shower.
Everything worked well, no leaks. I went to Home Depot ands got a push button connector to shut off the shower head.
It worked fine, but wouldn't tighten up before running into the push button.
Double stacked washers and some Teflon tape. Good to go.

I put a rope of plumbers putty around three side of the tail lights. It looked like moisture was getting in there.
Cleaned the lenses and put everything back together.

I put a cup of bleach in the fresh water holding tank, filled it up and ran the bleach water throughout the system.
Holding the bleach water for 12 hours before I do a final flush tomorrow.

Checked the operation of my dump with the portable tote. I hope the site slant off if I have to use it because the TT is lower than the tote.
I should have sewage everywhere we're staying so I may leave the tote behind.

Got a couple extra plugs for the hot water tank. Put in a couple LED replacements for the 921 bulbs in the TT.
I wanted to try them before replacing all. They look good. Was a little tight getting them wedged in, but good to go.

Pizza time.

Doug

Went out to the storage lot to get our old grill out of the trailer to remove quick connector fixtures to put on our new Weber Q 120. Also talked to the storage lot owner to make arrangements to get our 5W the end of next week. Has been what seems to be a long, long, winter!

Installed a knife rack on the back of a kitchen cabinet door, installed an additional smoke/fire alarm in the bedroom, installed a metal stove top cover (for extra counter space), removed the outside sink/stove set up (we'll never use that) and then foam-filled some open areas under the fiver however, Jayco did a really good job of filling almost all of the open areas in order to prevent "critters" from entering.

re: What Did You Do To Your RV TODAY?

I didn't do it to "my" Jayco, but it was to a Jayco nonetheless. Got a digital converter box installed and working in my parent's TT so now they have tv reception and wired it so they have sound through the surround sound speakers.

Also noticed, while going in and out that the steps felt "spongy" to me. A quick look underneath revealed loose nuts on the steps mount. Tightened those and solved that problem.

Now the kids and I are spending the night in said Jayco in "Camp Driveway"!

Yes I did Kim. Hopefully I'll have less work the rest of the year lol
I just had to go through every system while I have all my tools and resources available.
Hitting the road soon and don't want to overlook anything I can fix now.

Pizza was good :-)

Best regards,
Doug
