Went ride by the storage unit and gave our camper a good look-over to make sure she is enjoying her home while we are working.
Filled up the soap dispenser all the way - previously filled it 1/4 after camping friend had one that leaked on him...no leaks!!
Also, loaded the new tent in the storage area and ordered some new chairs. Still looking forward to our maiden voyage next month!!!

The first part of this post is somewhat related to my Jayco. I put new tires on my TV today so I'm now ready for the trip to Florida in 4 weeks for my summer host position.

This part of the post is directly related to my Jayco. I ordered 4 new tires to replace the original Marathon tires. My dealer originally found 4 G614's with a manufacturing date of 0413. This is good enough, but by the time he actually tried to order them they were gone. The good news is I now have 4 coming direct from Good Year that might actually still be warm.

I will feel much more comfortable driving south on 8 new tires.

De-winterize!!!!
the waterflow was just a dribble from the kitchen tap but it was replaced under warranty since it was cracked and leaking last summer. All other taps worked fine so I unscrewed the screen and I found some debris in the back of it. All better now.

We were blessed with good weather...while it got below freezing at night our tank heater did its job. All good. Days in NYC were almost perfect spring day :-)

Has anyone installed a wall mount for small tv in a Jay Flight Swift SLX 154/165/184? The wall board is very thin on both sides with nothing in between. I thought maybe mounting a backing board on one or both sides of the wall to distribute the weight. We currently just pack the tv during travel and set it on the shelf.
Thanks,

I snowblowed away the 20+ inches of snow in the driveway to make a spot to put the trailer when I bring it home from storage next weekend. I hope this snow ends soon!

we are "de- winterizing" this weekend and using it to backyard camp. We are all packed, except food and are heading out for the first time in our brand new trailer in 20 days. I am so tempted to go someplace before that but maybe the backyard camping will scratch the itch.

When the weather warmed up a few days ago I heard a fan sound coming from my refrigerator that I had never heard before. It was intermittent, but definitely a fan. It seems my refrigerator, Norcold N1095, has two fans on the fins in the back and one of them is getting tired. They are thermostatically controlled so they only come on when the temperature requires.

Now the problem, they are only accessible by pulling the refrigerator out to get to the back. You can't even see them from either the bottom or top vents outside. Fortunately I have the Jayco extended warranty, which I did not have to pay for or I probably wouldn't have bought it. Yes the extended has a $100.00 deductible, but since the repair will be done by the selling dealer, the deductible will only be $75.00. And it gets better. My dealer service manager comes to my home base site twice a year to do my rubber roof maintenance and he will replace this fan at the same time. All will be fixed on Sunday 4-28.

Discovered a propane leak in the green knob on the pigtail- The leak was caused by the failure of a plastic washer inside the pigtail- I became aware of the problem when I found a piece of the failed washer on the ground when I was installing a refilled tank of propane- Just luck on my part, not the result of an inspection of the pigtail- Rest assured, I will be examining the pigtail thoroughly before I install the pigtail- I will also go back to an old habit of spraying these connections after having reinstalled the pigtail- JMHO- DD

Just got finished washing the roof and sides. Took off one of the 30lb propane tanks to be filled. Tired now, may need to take a nap in the trailer this afternoon now.....

Ahhhhh! Finally! 70ºs in the Husker Nation. Spring is here!
Put the finishing touches on dewinterizing the water system. All systems are a go!
Tomorrow we head out for our initial camping weekend of the season.

I had my sister here for two nights and she left today. Tonight I get my bed back, but the couch mattress is not bad at all. It is very comfortable actually.
