Bought some window tinting at Home Depot and tinted the windows for more privacy and heat reduction. Also raised the towel ring in the bathroom. It was so low that only a wash cloth would hang there.

Turned the CO2 detector upside down under bench seat to avoid hitting wires with the fabric bins we set in there.

Checked the batteries in the CO2 and smoke detectors.....a new TT didn't guarantee a fresh 9V battery in my case.

Compared to earlier in the week when I was replacing tires and washing/waxing, this morning I am sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee and watching TV under the power of my generator. Yep, this is the monthly generator run for an hour. It started up immediately and hasn't missed beat for the past 16 minutes, 45 more minutes to go.

Two weeks from yesterday I am off to Florida for a 4 month stint as a campground host. This will be my 3rd summer in a row at the same park. Obviously I like this park.

Last Saturday wife and I took all the caulking off that they did not clean off the unit and washed and waxed (by hand) and washed the roof. Dewinterized and put some more things in. This unit is way better bulit than the last unit was. Roof is not weak at all. Much easier to clean than my last Crossroads! GO JAYCO.

I hate vacuuming and dusting, but I just finished doing both. Whew! Now time for lunch and then a nap I'm thinking.

Just ordered a quadra step from Elkhart Tool & Die to replace the factory 3-stepper. The DW is developing knee problems, so the quad's 7 inch steps should make it easier than the old 9 inchers. And our Dachshund should also be able to navigate the quads a little easier, too. Keep on campin' !!!

Got the quadra steps installed today. Kind of a PITA, as not all the steps are 7 inch as advertised, and had to fabricate brackets and weld them on to make it fit. It definitely is NOT as easy as the manufacturer says to install. It IS an improvement over the three stepper, but not sure it was worth all the effort, especially when the distance between the steps was NOT as advertised.
