Finished loading the tools in the cargo box on the rear of the trailer. Sallie is still packing and cleaning inside the trailer. I started loading the truck. We have the doctors OK to head out soon. (like next week)

Packed it up for fishing and camping trip down off the June Lake Loop this weekend. Guys trip only, wife and daughter aren't too happy I'm leaving them at home. Brother, brother-in-law and brother-in-laws cousin and everyone in their own trailers. I'm turtling this trip for the first time, going to see how comfortable the couch is

Two days ago I noticed a water leak from my rear a/c. It had just started and it wasn't raining outside. I took the inside grill off to check the hold down screws and they were snug so.......I don't get on roofs anymore and I called the remote RV repair guy in this area. He came out yesterday and found the condensation pan in this unit was completely plugged up with 3 summers worth of crud. He took it out and cleaned it real good and drilled out the drain holes just a tad. I had him check the front a/c since it is the same age and time in service and he was already on the roof. The same thing was found and fixed.

A/C's are working better than ever and no more leak.

I just replaced my two inline water filters. The first filter is a 1 micron particulate filter and it has been replaced 4 times this summer due to it doing it's job (county water). The second filter is a 1 micron carbon filter. This is the first time it has been replaced this year, but it was due based on water flow after after the primary was replaced.

All is good again.

Re-packed wheel bearings, checked/adjusted brakes, and shot some grease into the wet bolts.

When we made our maiden voyage last week I noticed after we drove the 90 miles to the lake that I had a brake squeeking and would quit when I applied the brakes.
Figured out it was the front drivers side.
Jacked it up today and could hardly spin it so I took it apart and could hardly get the drum of the spindle.
For some reason the adjustment was about 6 clicks to tight.
I backed it off, repacked the bearings and she spins like a top.
I'm wondering if it will pull easier now.
Oh,and I made some wheel locks which seem to have stopped the slight movement we had when parked.

Cleaned out anything the mice might eat, or might freeze and winterized the plumbing and parked it for the year. Then I went and looked at the calendar to see how many months till I get to go camping again.

We are set up on our winter site and the day was spent putting up a sun shade and laying outdoor carpet. After tomorrow we will be set for the winter.

I cleaned up and packed everything for travel. This was done yesterday. Today I pull in the slides, hook up and head north for the winter. After I finish my cup and it gets daylight anyway. Maybe a second cup will be in order.

I sat in it last night and had a beer. We just brought her home this past weekend so are still super stoked Planning activities and deciding where to store all of our gear. I then had more beer and tested the refrigerator ensuring that beer remains at optimal temperatures.
