Reattached the fire extinguisher after it's mount came off the wall. I found that they missed the backer board at the factory so I moved it over a little to the screws go into it now (does this count as my first mod?). I'm sure the silky smooth Michigan highways I drove 500 miles on this weekend didn't help either!

Good job, Scott! I moved mine as well . . . couldn't get the cabinet door open all the way where it was. Counts as a mod in my book! We've been b****ing about Michigan's roads for years. Glad you came to visit us in spite of them.

Hubby got me 2 more batteries to add to the setup for Mother's Day and I've changed out most of my lights to LED.

Took a small TV and connected to jack to test what HD stations are in my neighborhood. The TV is just small enough to fit in the storage by the stereo (X17A). Tomorrow, I will check the propane levels and get them filled if I need to.

And I ordered some new LED lights to replace the indoor lights. I am tall and they are hot! Having some cooler lighting will be nice. Installation of those might be during my next camp trip.

It got unloaded and cleaned after a trip to the beach this weekend. Kids and dog sure know how to bring the sand inside.

Wow, we leave next Saturday for the Fort with the plan of getting there by check-in time the following Monday.

Anywho, I added some Mickey Mouse-themed towels, toothbrush holder and small waste bucket for the bathroom to surprise the kids.

Headed out on our maiden voyage. Only about 30 miles from home, but wanted to stay fairly close for the first trip. Will post pics once we make it home on Sunday.

Replaced my 1st stage water filter. It is a 1 micron and it lasts about 2 weeks in this state park. It is county water and is high quality and tastes good, but it has a lot of particulate matter in it.

2 good, 1 undecided

I placed two gas gauges on the tanks today. That worked well and I think it will save me some stress about wondering about the status of the tanks. Removing stress is good.

The undecided comes from the LED lights I bought to replace the stock lighting. I replaced one of the pairs and the light is very blue and stark (but cooler to the touch) as opposed to the yellowish and warmer lighting (but hot to the touch).

I will wait for the DW to return from her weekend trip and ask her opinion.

I also bought the stabilizer jack attachment for my cordless drill. I will wait a few more outings of having the kids to the jacks and then whip out the drill later this summer. Bwahahaha!

Storage check after some heavy storms. Gotta check the seams for signs of water intrusion. Took some pics of mods to make a mods posting. I'll go and bring her home next Sunday for a long overdue trip with friends!!

Doing it as I type this:

Running my generator under load for 1 hour as I do every month.

Filling my fresh water tank since if the park has a broken water line like they do frequently I won't be out of water for the several hours it usually takes to fix the break.

I did a few modifications this weekend to our Eagle 314BDS such as adding a battery cut-off switch in the LP Tank compartment behind the panel:

One of the easiest mods was adding a vent cover to our bedroom vent. In the mornings, the vent was like having a skylight, so I purchase this from Amazon:

Before adding the vent cover:

and after adding the vent cover:

Then I added my new (to me) bike/cargo rack that I purchased from a member of this forum:

Which also meant that I had to relocate my rear stab jacks:
