Thanks for the info!

No, we haven't been, that would be an epic journey for us; two days driving and we have an infant, so that makes it even more difficult. I just saw the place when I was goofing around on Google Maps and thought it looked like a nice place to visit. Glad you had a nice time!

On topic; got a note from my dealer last night, they have my new power tongue jack. Need to go get the trailer out of storage Thursday night so I can do the swap this weekend! Going to tidy up the wiring up front while I'm at it. Why do they not use waterproof wire nuts up there?

Just ordered 4 new electric brake assemblies and grease seals for my 26BH. Only $130.78 total at eTrailer.com. I decided to go with manual adjustable brakes, since self-adjusting cost $15 more each, and to me it's worth the hassle of adjusting by hand to save $60 bucks. I'll pick up a couple tubes of grease at Walmart and I'll be all set.

I will clean up and save the best R/L pair of the old brake assemblies and keep them in my TT, just in case one of the new ones decides to self destruct while on the road.

I decided to cancel the order for the grease seals, and instead I am getting 4 bearing kits that included inner/outer bearings and races, seals, D-washer and cotter pin. A bargain at $11.98 per kit.

I figure that since the brake assemblies will be new, might as well go whole hog and replace all the bearings, too.

3 weeks later still going back and forth with Jayco service and Camping World service. Electrical issues traced to a 50 amp fuse blown and now Jayco says it should be 80 amp fuse. Not a circuit breaker a fuse!
The front landing gear shaft broke completely off and now waiting for replacement that never got ordered.
Also putting replacement transfer switch for the 3 time......

Added a door grab handle

I picked this up at CW. It was an easy install.

Tired of using a flashlight to see what's hiding in the pantry, I wired up some 12v led pucks and a micro switch so they automatically turn on and off when you open the door. The DW has a tendency to leave the rocker switch the lights came with in the "on" position as I found out today even though we haven't been on the trailer for days. Glad it's hooked up to shore power at the moment!

Did you do a write up on this? If not, could you put one up? I want to do something similar and am looking for ideas. I'm interested in what you used for 12V source.

On topic: brought home the trailer from storage and removed the jack for replacement under warranty. Found water in the jack head (source of the problem; hasn't rained in weeks) and corrosion all over all the electrical connections. Will repair/upgrade this weekend and post in tech forum with pics...

Rolling up the Mastercraft mattress and foam topper for storage. We ordered a Sleep Number Premier RV king and hope will not go with the camper if and when it's sold.

When we bought out Whitehawk 20MRB, we were not pleased with the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. We walked through other, larger Jayco trailers and found a larger one that would fit the excessive space quite nicely.

After a couple of comedy of errors, the correct cabinet finely came in and we took the 20MRB back up to the dealer to install it. Came out very nice!

I ordered 5 new Maxxis 205-75-15 8 ply tires from Discount Tire Direct (online only) which will be delivered some time next week.

$400 total., free shipping, for 5 $112 tires. There was a $100 rebate on the tires, and I opened a new Discount Tire credit card account and used it to buy the tires, which gave me another $60 rebate.

I love free money, especially when it makes the cost of things closer to where they were when I was younger. LOL

Just finishing washing...learned several lessons in the process. 1st, wash the roof before I wash the sides! 2nd, put down the stabilizers before going up on the roof and washing! All in all everything looked great. Took off the tires and checked the brakes and bearings...all looked good. If only we were going camping soon! Looking at Beaver Bend, OK or Dinosaur Valley SP (North Texas; DFW area) for 4 days in October. Any other recommendations?

Gave her a much needed bath after bringing her home from the last trip in the rain last weekend. Also checked everything over in preparation to leave for a 10-day trip on Friday.

Fixed a slow leaking window due poor workmanship in the Jayco Mfg. Plant.
Had to replace the bottom wood plate because of it softness due rot. Used Butyl Tape to re-install. Will remove all the other windows and redo them. Unit is only 3 years old.

Packed up the GH 31ss this morning, drove home, unloaded, leveled it and extended the slide and awning, rolled the awning back up, (wasn't dirty) and then gave it a quick wash/hose down as next door site had a fire last night, soot all over the slide side, and bird poo and bugs all over the front of the GH. Parked her in her spot and put the wheel covers on, have to let one cargo area dry out, water got in during the wash down. LOL.
