Hooked it up and took it around the "40 mile loop" so I could agitate and dump the tanks. I'm giving the Geo method a try to see if it will improve the tank gauges a bit. So far it seems to be working. So now it's ready for the next outing in about 3 weeks.....

After 3 weeks finally all the mods are done. The underbelly insulation and resealing was the biggest job. Underbelly is nice and smooth installed a way better job than when it was built. The small kitchen window was leaking a little bit after rain so fixed that too.
Cleaning the roof was a job and a half, it probably has been neglected for a couple of years, but she smiling towards the sky again. Serviced the A/C fan motor and checked the condition of the seal. All the accessories are hanging in the front storage, so there is room for other stuff. To morrow inside cleaning and slowly loading there up again for departure next week. Darn nice 4 season Jay Feather!

Started the dewinterization process.....replaced the original batteries,
checked the propane system, checked air pressure on tires, and a few other
trivial tasks. Will be taking it from storage to my driveway this weekend to flush
the water lines and give it a well needed bath and hopefully convince myself to put a coat of wax on it.

Just enjoying a cup in my Designer sitting in GEICO East Park at Talladega Superspeedway. It is going to be another great day volunteering.

Pulled it from Potholes Reservoir to the Priest Rapids area of the Columbia River, south of Vantage, WA. And yep, another free camping spot, where I can watch the mighty Columbia roll by. I'll probably spend two nights here, then leave Sunday morning so I can set up at my new host position RV pad at Dash Point around noon. After that, it'll be two months tied down to one spot.

Not so much today, as of yet. Flushed the FW system, and sanitized the lines last night, and sanitized the system overnight. Tonight flush the lines with fresh water. If I have time I need to check the water heater. Last fall, it smoked up the side of the HTT, I’m guessing it has spider nest in the tube. But I might look at while camping instead.

Hooked it up to the truck, loaded and ready to go. Waiting on the DW to get home from work, then we head out for the weekend.

Finally took off the cover, only to find a squirrel had tried my A/C cover for lunch!! Little bits of white plastic everywhere! Funny, a two piece snap together cover, but can't buy just the back half. That critter owes me $150 bucks when I catch him!!

Finished sanitizing the lines this evening. Found two water leaks. The p trap for the bathroom sink was leaking at the threaded joint. Fairly easy fix unthreaded it cleaned the threads and put it back together. The other leak, not quite so easy, the pipe nipple between the pex pipe and the water heater is dripping. Why after 4 years would it start leaking. Had to loosen the pex fitting to get a wrench on the nipple to give it a little turn, then tight the pex fitting Had to do this five times. The joint was still weeping a bit, but not dripping. I'll check it in the morning.
Checked the caulking, found a number of spots that need touching up. Found three or four on the roof. The roof has never required touching up, so that's not to bad. I think I'll give it a quick fix, and buy some eternbond to do the whole roof.

Decided to go ahead and get the drive out of the way, so I left Priest Rapids and pulled my TT back to Bonney Lake today. It's only 10 miles or so from where I'm at to Dash Point SP, where I'm going tomorrow.

Today I went to my seasonal site (new 38fdds delivered last week) to work on a few things. I connected the water and sewage lines and also installed a maxxair vent cover. The park doesn't open until May 14th. Seasonal folks have access to their rigs but we can't stay there until opening day. Two more weeks! I have shore power and water so I also fired up the water heater and furnace to make sure everything was still in working order since the PDI. Now I can't wait for the season to begin!

I installed MaxxAir II vent covers on my new Jayco, and now neither of the powered vent fans will work! Jaycee is now using Fan-Tastic powered vents, which have a limit switch on the hinge. The MaxxAirs's don't allow the vents to open far enough for the fan to operate.... Now I have to order replacement covers from Fan-Tastic Vent.....

It seems like there is always something to do with our trailer. Today in preparation for a month camp hosting my hubby checked the battery to make sure it had enough water. It was pretty low so we filled it up. The 2 cases the batteries sit in though had a good bit of water from our typical Pacific Northwest rain. Took the batteries out of their case and drilled a hole in each one to let the water drain.
Loaded up the trailer with food and supplies and we should be good to go tomorrow for a month at Fort Flagler, WA. This is our second year there.

Ugh.... That stinks.
I didn't turn the fan on after the install, but I don't think the fan in the JayFlight is a Fan-tasic powered fan. After your post, I went online to see what they looked like. Mine doesn't look the same. What is the diameter of the blade assembly on the fan-tastic? In the pics I saw they appear to be like 10-12? The blade assembly on mine looks much smaller

Gave her her first bath(yesterday) - a much different experience than cleaning the WH. A couple of things on the agenda before it rains today:
- Got the new tire mounted yesterday, so need t swap it out with the spare
- Get a coat of wax on at least the front cap

Filled my onboard gas generator tank. Gotta keep the Onan happy for the next day/day at Talladega. Then tomorrow I'm off to Panama City Beach until September.

Spent 8hrs on Saturday cleaning roof and applying protectant, washing the awning, and wash and wax the exterior. Ready for 6000 miles of bugs and dirt.
