After a great (although windy) four days at Selkirk State Park, after filling the water tanks, we lost a little before getting it leveled. So back at home I borrowed the idea of valves on the overflows. Thank you fellow campers!

Cleaned er' up, dumped & cleaned the tanks, and parked her in storage for a few months. It's so hot here, our AC is barely keeping it 81 degrees in full sun from 1pm to 6pm. I thought I had a 15k AC (at least that's what I was led to believe at purchase) it only has a 13k.

Woke up early and pulled the TT out of storage and parked it in front of the house. Then I washed it, added air to the tires, checked all the lug nuts, plugged in to electricity and turned on the fridge.
We then started to load things into it, but no food or perishable items. Will wait until morning to put those items in when the trailer and the fridge are much cooler. It's 108 here now. Much better than the 123 temperature we had a couple weeks ago. But still too hot.
We head out tomorrow for a 3 month trip to cooler weather in the Pacific northwest. First stopover is at the beach in Ventura. Woo Hoo! Can't wait to get out of the desert heat!

Got up on my ladder yesterday afternoon with the hose and washed all of the stuff off that falls from the fir trees over my TT, and at the same time inspecting the roof membrane for damage, checking to make sure no small branches fell on it.

Built a sun shade for the door. $3 automotive windshield shade from Wally World and $2 with of sticky back Industrial Velcro. Our door faced the very hot sun this weekend and with the wind, we didn't leave the awning out for fear of damage. I have been meaning to do this for quite a while now, but got it done after we unloaded the camper today.

Ordered a Dish Network Wally receiver, Dish, and tripod. In the evenings and in inclement weather, we like to keep up with our shows only available through dish.

Cut our trip short this weekend. It was just too hot. Our AC couldn't keep up, and the swimmin' hole where we were staying was full. So we had virtually no escape from the oppressive heat. So we packed it all up early and headed home where at least we could sit in our pool... and the AC at the sticks & bricks has no trouble keeping up.

Probably going to get the trailer ready for semi-long-term storage this week; it's just too hot to go anywhere. Maybe one more night in a few weeks, then we're probably not camping until the heat breaks in September or October...

On the up side, DW and I are considering adding a second AC unit. We purchased the trailer with "2nd AC Prep", so it shouldn't be anything I can't handle...

A little late but did the monthly generator maintenance - checked the oil and ran the A/C for an hour. Also cleaned the gutters out since everything is dry again and did a quick roof inspection. Still hoping to find some time to install the MaxxAir over the bathroom vent before the next trip out.

I just did one on my bedroom vent. 3/16 drill bit, phillips screwdriver, crescent wrench and about 10 mins is all you will need. SUPER EASY!

Early am - enjoy a couple of cups of coffee. By mid-morning to late afternoon I'm just sitting in my Designer and enjoying the 2 a/c's doing their thing. It is much too hot to do anything outside.

Lately it's been a conspiracy of suspiciously timed rain showers coupled with the DW's suggestion that the main bath be remodeled.....

Today I fixed and reinstalled of my inverter, modified the AC outlet above the cab so that passengers can watch TV while motoring, and change the oil on my Melbourne 29D.
