Not sure if this has been covered before but I was looking for the water heater by pass valves and saw this.

I split a piece of rubber air hose and put over the rough cut opening to prevent the heater duct from possible leaks in the future. The cover over the wire reinforcement was already starting to fray.

Sanitized the fresh water system and checked out all the propane appliances. Everything appears to be in good working order. Also replaced the 9v battery in the smoke detector.

Washed it... roof and all!! Getting ready to head up the Hiawassee GA.... leaving April 1st. After we drop it off we are heading up to Chicago to visit new TWIN granddaughters (3 months old). Daughter has a To-Do list a mile long... two weeks there and back in Hiawassee on Easter Sunday.

Hung small curtain from ceiling in hallway leading to bedroom so as to zone off that area for better A/C cooling. This covers the gap over the bathroom door that forms the rest of the barrier.

Got the roof and slide cleaned.
I'll wax the slide walls tomorrow then retract and finish washing and waxing the rest.
In between Nascar breaks.

Our TT is stored in a barn 35 miles from our home, we drive out each weekend to check her out and figure out how we'll store our possessions once we bring her home prior to our first trip. Drove out this morning, hung the new license plate, measured under the bed storage area, simply checked her well-being.

Installed a wet bolt kit. It was a lot easier than I thought. I was able to put the new bushings in with a few light taps on a 2X4 with a hammer. All bushings taking grease easily. Also checked/ adjusted brakes and 1 wheel bearing needed a small amount of adjustment. All totaled spent about 4 hrs on it with basic hand tools.
Happy Camping

Built a new home for my TT

My Previous TT was a Coleman Popup which fit in my carport. My new 23RB did not so I purchased an upgrade kit for my carport. I raised it 5 feet and lengthened it 10 feet. The company I bought it from 15 years ago is Versatube and they were able to sell me perfectly engineer parts to make the modifications. We finished putting it up at 5:00 pm and I backed the TT in. At 8:00 pm we had a hailstorm that smashed our roof and skylights in our house. New carport has dimples everywhere but the TT was undamaged. I have been lucky like that all my life.

Don't let the wind get under that, it may do some damage to the roof.

Also removed the metal stove cover as it just kept falling over and our model has enough counter space we don't need the extra room.
