My father (RIP) occasionally called me Rascal, but I prefer my spelling.

When I first registered at Pop Up Explorer about 10 years ago, we had just gotten back from one of our early camp outs in our first pop up. I am a graduate and big fan of The Ohio State University, so I wanted to be Buckeye something. My first couple ideas were already used, so I came up with Buckeye Hunter, because on that camp out whe had been hunting for Buckeyes with my then 10 month old son. I do hunt in the normal sense on occasion, but didn't even think about that until later. I have since used this on about 5-6 other sites since then. Go Bucks.

I'm retired now but was a journalist and faced daily deadlines, therefore...

DEaDLiNeR

I also was in a band called The Grateful Deadliners because we all worked for newspapers (but no, we didn't cover any Grateful Dead tunes...)

Murff, short for Murphy. Direct descendant of the "Murphy's Law" Murphy. No one is immune, it will get to you once in awhile.

I am a country girl at heart but have always lived in the "city."

The story of the country mouse and city mouse was the first thing that came to mind so I went with it.

had a Jayco 1206 popup before I joined this forum and belonged to a popup forum. LBL stands for Land Between the Lakes. aka Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area located in both Tn and Ky. I live 9 miles from the south entrance in Tennessee. thus LBL 1206 and I just brought the handle to this forum.
