My wife and I tent camped for many years. This TT is our very first RV.
My parents owned a "C" Class Winnebago, so I am not new to camping, only to owning my own RV. :hihi:

We also tent camped for years and have all the equipment anyone would need for that. We rented a pop-up a couple times, then bought our Jayco Eagle 5er in '08.

Well lets see, started out in a tent, then to a coleman PU, back to tenting, then renting cabin's (the older I got the more I need a potty close at hand) and now have a Jayco G2 31BHDS on a permanent site. Will start to visit it once the snow goes.

We also started out tent camping. Then we added a '74 Volkswagen camper to augment the tent. In '92 we purchased '82 Rockwood Pop-Up and got off the ground. In '02 we sold the old Rockwood and bought a new Rockwood model 1980 Pop-Up with A/C and furnace. In '07 we traded up to a larger Flagstaff 625D with slideout dinette and power lift. Last fall we bought the Jayco EXP 21M Hybrid. We kept the Flagstaff 625D. :hihi:

My parents had a small Monitor TT in late sixties that we camped in, and kept it about 10 yrs. Then they bought a used Class C Dodge chassis Motorhome. My family tent camped for yrs and I started taking my sons when they were about 5 yrs old. Bought a used 26' Coachmen TT, sold it after we outgrew it, then bought the Jayco. Still do a bunch of tent camping with Scout Troop. -Lee

It seems that most of us are going bigger each time. Age and comfort seem to go together.

Yes, but it also seems that most of us started out in a tent...hmmm. There is something about canvas and Coleman stoves that make RV'ers out of folks. I loved the canvas days but wouldn't want to go back.

Going back is NOT an option.
