1979 Ford Pinto hatchback. It was orange with white racing stripes and had orange and white plaid bucket seats like you would find in a kitchen. It had the 2.3 liter straight 4. I learned a ton about working on cars from that thing. Replaces rear main oil seal, twice - long story. I used to be able to tell how fast I was going by the space between the oil drops behind the car.

1967 Pontiac Catalina. Had a 400ci engine w/2bbl carb. I used to turn the air cleaner lid upside down to make it sound a little more "throaty". Didn't help much. The car was like 50' long or so it seemed back then and not really a chic magnet but it got me where I was going.

1969 Buick Special. Had a friend step thru the rear floorboard one night. 2nd was a 1972 Buick Riviera. Loved that boat tail, 455 & all. 3rd was a 73 Camero RT. 4th- 1977 Ford Ranchero GT, 5th-1984 Toyota 4x4,(first ever brand new), 6th-1983 Ford Bronco(full size), 7th- 1996 F150 SB, 8th- Dodge 3/4 tn high top conversion van,9th- 1993 F250 with 460CID,LB, 10th- 1987 F250 with 351, project truck, 11th- 2006 F250 6.0 Powerstroke. (2nd brand new)
Almost forgot, 1970 Chrysler Newport, a grandma car I picked up for $500. Still has bias ply tires on it. Had a 383 CID V8, that old boat would give DW's 83 Mustang 5.0 a run for it's money!

1974 Ford Pinto with the Factory Lincoln Continental grille, hood and truck lid in powder blue. I am sure I put in as much oil as I did gas. She was a beater and I had to stop to clean the spark plugs on the side of the road more than once but she took me places. Ahhh the memories... also not a "chick magnet"
