I had to walk and ride a bike to work and school for years before I could afford a car. I finally bought a '72 Ford Gran Torino 2dr - it was a beautiful dark olive, and never should have sold it. It was a super car, pre-EPA type crap. If I had the space for another toy (other than the Jayco), I would get a 66-72 American car, but we all have to live within our means. But I still love classic cars and trucks a lot! The cool thing is so does DW! Maybe we'll get another one someday. We sold our sweet '71 Chevy C10 to get into our trailer life. We really miss that truck.

After I got back from Nam in 1969, I bought a 1962 Red Corvette convertible with a 340HP 327c.i. engine and a Muncie 4 Speed. What a monster! Boy do I wish I still had that one!

1952 Ford 2dr. Bought it for $40.00 from a farmer with money earned hauling hay for a cent and a half a bale. When we got it home and tried to change the oil, I had to dig sludge and PISTON RINGS out of the oil pan !!! The start of a BAD adventure.

1958 Mercury 4 door with a 312 that was bored out, had a 56 three speed trany that was a little on the weak side. I put 3 tranys in that car in six months. I bought it from my BIL for 50.00 bucks with a trany problem and sold it for 75

If I answer enough of these polls, I think someone will be able to reset the password on every account I own.... They always ask me the same questions
