'59 Chevrolet Biscayne 4 dr sedan - the lowest end of Chevy's lowest end model. 235 ci straight 6, 3 on the column. Didn't even have a radio. Paid $250 in 1965 after I got home from Army Reserve basic and AIT. Wasn't much, but it got me around Great Falls MT for the next couple of years.
Traded it in '67 for a '63 Impala 4dr HT, 300 horse 327, Powerglide 2 speed auto. Loved that car - hit a radar trap one night clocked at 140 mph, Montana state patrol was lenient, ticketed me for doing 80 in a 65 night zone - $15 fine.

Nothing exciting here. 1987 Suzuki Samurai JX soft-top. I bought it off my dad, who bought it just as a small cheap vehicle. It wasn't much, but it was mine.

1962 Rambler American, convertible, straight 6 with three-on-the-tree. It was 1969 and gas, I think, was about 37 cents a gallon. That car would go forever on a gallon of gas!

My car history is pretty boring.
1 - 1984 VW Rabbit Diesel - HS
2 - 1985 VW Golf Diesel (wish I still had it...50 mpg) - HS and Navy
3 - 1988 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible (horrible un-reliable car, sold it and kept the Golf)
4 - 1997 Nissan Hardbody Pickup (Bullet proof truck, in 12 years only needed oil, belts, and an alternator)
5 - 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6 (Very reliable car, in 7 years never needed a single repair)
6 - 1999 F-350 Crew Cab, V10, 4x4 - My current TV/Daily Driver when wife needs the T&C
7 - 2009 Chrysler Town and Country (Didn't learn my lesson with the LeBaron) - Current Daily Driver
Next on my wish list is an early 2000's 4.0 liter Jeep Cherokee for desert exploring and towing a small pop-up camper, perhaps a second Jayco to park next to the 29BHS  .
