I'm a hardcore cinephile so I devour a lot of movies weekly.
Lately, I've had this unhealthy obsession with Gloria Grahame. I started with In a Lonely Place (with Bogart) and then downloaded The Big Heat. Both of these are utterly fantastic. Fans of Noir may be familiar with both titles, especially the latter. Rotten Tomatoes gives The Big Heat a perfect (100%) rating.

I enjoyed Dr Strange. The Princess Bride is an all time favorite, the idea of someone not liking that movie is inconcievable..

The original "In Cold Blood" is the most terrifing movie I have ever seen. The black and white photography, knowing it was a true story, and that it took place next door in Kansas gave me bad dreams for a good while. My favorite movie though would be "American Graffitti". I have seen it more times than I can count and still love it. I spent my teen years with guys that were doubles of those characters. My first real car was a white 1958 Impala and sorry but, I was "Toad" !!!

I just watched "Apocalypse Now Redux" again for the umpteenth time. Still freaks me out.
I'm waiting for "Assassin's Creed" to be release soon. What can I say, I'm nearing 50 and I still like playing video games.

For many years my favorite film was The Blues Brothers - now I believe Avatar is "more better".

El Dorado. Best Cowboy movie ever. John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, James Caan, Christopher George (guys my age will remember him from Rat Patrol), Edward Asner.
El Dorado (1967) - IMDb

Went from one extreme to the next..... i have to say, both movies i agree are great movies, but the blues Brothers is just an all time "laugh from start to finish" classic, one that you can watch over and over .... like "Christmas Vacation"

"Bang the Drum Slowly" Baseball movie with early Robert Deniro and Michael Moriarty. Many great character actors in the supporting cast. Best closing line in a movie ever.
