Woodford Reserve was probably the classiest distillery we visited. Not that it made it any better than the others. Just different.

My preference is for highland single malts like Oban. But I don't buy them vary often.

I'm mostly a beer drinker, but when I cross to the dark side, it's Jack Daniel's Black, Gentleman Jack, or Honey Jack. Haven't tried the Single Barrel yet.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

Every Valentines day my wife buys me a dozen of the sample bottles of whiskey. My favorites are Makers and Woodford. Generally we get Canadian Mist, it's ok but the price is better.

Another single malt Scotch guy here. Glenlivet, half a water glass, ~3-4 ounces with 2 ice cubes. Sip, repeat as necessary.

For those of you that like the honey jack, try wild turkey honey. Just chill the bottle, pour, drink, repeat.

I'm a single barrel/black label guy myself.

Jack Daniels for me most of the time. Will grab some Knob Creek every once in a while. Also a nice Tanquery Tonic is nice in the summer from time to time as well as a Vodka Lemonade or a 7-7. Actually who am I kidding, I can enjoy them all lol, but the one I like best is a Jack Coke!

The tour guide at either Woodford Reserve or at Heaven Hill said that the proper way to drink bourbon is 2 fingers in a snifter should last about 2 hours. Enjoy it like a good cigar.

I've been doing it sooooo wrong.

Well an old friend once explained to me that 2 fingers were really your index finger and your pinky finger with the other 3 folded over.

Makes for a more substantial drink!

Jim Beam Devil's Cut - My favorite for sipping.
Elijah Craig Small Batch - Very smooth, but just a little bit too much kick at 94 proof to drink straight.
Evan Williams Black - What I use for Manhattans.
Evan Williams Cherry - Wife's favorite. Good for dessert.
Wild Turkey Honey - Best honey bourbon.
