I was sitting at the bar on a cruise ship one night enjoying a blue moon and the bar tender was making someone else a drink. One of the ingredients was a shot of grand marinia. I inquired what that was and he said it was like orange snapps. I requested a shot of it to try it out. It was awesome, and since blue moon already has a hint of orange to it I ordered another blue moon and poured a shot of grand marina in it. Thus was born one of my favorite drinks. Try, bet you like it!

Tuaca, from nearby Italy with an orange and vanilla base - highly recommended especially on a cold night. We are Florida born, but 7 years in Breck, Après Ski -

How Tuaca became "a Colorado thing" | Westword

I will try it with Blue Moon...

So what it's called? A Blue Marnier?

I've stooped to drinking Miller High Lifes today. Cheap and effective.

Funny story. I went down to the Black Dirt company down the road from me as they had a computer issue I know the owner. I was helping them out in the shop and look over and see two cases of Yuengling. One Lager and one Black and Tan. Now those of you out East are probably saying yeah whatever, I can go down to my local 711 and get some. Well the closest distributor when I checked last was around Ohio. So to see this in MN is a rare thing. I asked where they got that? "Oh a customer who is down south for the winter had his daughter drop it off." He goes on to say that he is more of a Rolling Rock drinker and didn't care for it. Says I can have it all if I want it. SOLD!!! I haven't had Yuengling since I was in FL last.

In fact it is partly why I became a home brewer. There are a lot of beers out there I like but because of distribution limitations we can't always get them. So I try and find a recipe of a clone of it.
