Drinking a Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster. It's a seasonal IPA, just released for 2016. I wait all year for this! Only sold in a 4 pack (9.1%abv) but goes down smooth.

I'm exploring the Growler offerings from our local liquor authority. A 64 oz Growler is enough to last me a weekend of camping, the price is right, and I don't have to worry about what to do with the empties. Last trip it was Half Pints Brewery Phil's Pils, and this time was Bridge Brewing North Shore Pale Ale.

I'm falling a little behind here:

Last trip it was Goose Island Goose IPA, and this trip it will be Garrison Brewing Seaport Blonde Ale.

Last week we were in South Lyon, Mi and stopped for a tasting flight at the witches hat brewery. Brought home a growler of their Under the Red Light ale and have been stingily sipping at that in the evenings while waiting for our next adventure.

It's beer week in Bellingham and tonight I went to a Bavarian Beer hall created just for this week and dogs were allowed so Tunce joined me as usual and all as I can say is "it was a hell of a night". Tunce was such a hit that they gave her 2 free German Sausages and I got a T shirt and a hell of a buzz.

Not a craft beer fan at all. Bud, Miller Lite, or lately a PBR are my beers of choice.

Half Pints Brewing Company WeisenHeimer, followed by Half Pints St. James Pale Ale. I'm liking the offerings from this local craft brewery.

Just wrapping up some work around the house, but a group of us are headed to Druthers Brewery and Restaurant, in Albany in a couple of hours to plan meals and "activities" for our upcoming NA$CAR/Camping weekend at Dover Speedway! I know that Druthers tapped their Octoberfest brew on Friday, but I'm also hoping that they broke out their DELICIOUS Porter!

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

Just spent the weekend enjoying a couple of new found Michigan friends. From the Frankenmuth brewery there was brown hound. And Petosky brewings hungry monk. A wonderful way to kill some more brain cells. I can't wait until we go back to Michigan next month and stop by the witches hat brewery for another growler refill of their brew called under the red light. Yummy.

Am drinking Alaskan White and Alaskan Amber. We were camped in the Black Hills and my DW found these beers at the Hill City, SD, grocery store. We were in Alaska for the entire summer in 2013 and 2015, and I developed a taste for them while there. Of course a 6 pack is $10 here in SD. But it is sure nice to have a beer brewed in that far-away land!
