Yea! Got my Much Needed Camping "FIX"

Although we started out in Camp Driveway on Thursday, we got to camp Friday-Sunday late afternoon

Amazing how active we stay when our three older grandkids join us! This time it was hikes to the river and waterfall, wagon ride to the barn, candy bar bingo, swimming, ping pong, golf, goofing around on the electric jeep and four wheel (kids), trying to start a fire like the Chumash did (ok so at least we tried!), BBQ's, smores, an evening dvd movie with popcorn... it was great!

There is nothing like taking the grandkids camping. We took the girls last weekend and the boys and I will be going in about 3 weeks. You are right healthi, they do keep us active. And oh yes, can't forget the smores.....

It looks like the whole family enjoyed the trip. When I saw that BBQ on the picnic table I had to run up to the shop to make sure mine was still there.

We just bought that grill. It's maiden voyage We had one like that years ago when we camped with our kids. I like it because it's compact, light, and has a lid that closes while cooking (we had to cover food with aluminum foil on the last one!)

Healthi, one of the good features of that BBQ is that with the lid on it will not flare up and burn things. We have a hose and either use a 20# tank or we hook it to one of the trailer tanks. I don't like useing the little bottles that always run out just before things are done.

Been there done that! We really need to get one of those long hoses to connect to the tt tank
