Just say " The poop tank is only so big and we have 5 in here already and it will be full but the weekends end, Sorry folks the other bathrooms are over that way!". Nice, simple, and truthful! The tank will NEVER hold 20 people. Not to mention the mess. Blame the tank not the guest.

I've been following this thread, and I completely understand the "NO" answer when you're with a group. But what about when you're with just one other couple? We're going out in a couple weeks with one other couple. They are bringing a tent for primary use, but our trailer would be their refuge if it's too hot, storming, etc.

So what say you then? They are really good friends and have been for pretty much our whole life. They may even be considered family. On the other hand, we're VERY territorial about our trailer... I just have some difficulty telling my best friends to scram, especially since they'll have a toddler in tow... I guess last time we were out with blood family, they got privileges, so I couldn't really deny them to my other family...

I still say it is not your problem. Let them resolve it once option 1 is eliminated

Might could tell them that you forgot to drain the black tank since your last trip and there is no room for additional waste....

No go, it's a full-hookup site. AND DW is 5.5 mos preggers, so we all know she's going to be in there all the time!!

I think I'll just bite the bullet and try to use the CG facilities as much as possible myself to set a good example. If they do use my on-board facilities and make a mess, I will bring it to their attention immediately so THEY can clean it up. Nothing like a little embarrassment to get things moving in the right direction. And they know how we are about cleanliness (we are borderline OCD), and they have been VERY good at respecting that over the years despite their own shortcomings in that department.

I'm okay with sharing as long as there is an understanding that there are consequences to abuse of my hospitality.

I would go out in the woods and use leaves for toilet paper before I would "drop a deuce" in my friends TT which inevitably has paper thin walls and inadequate ventilation.

Sorry, this one made me laugh out loud! I'm hoping our friends have this level of humility and will take it somewhere else...

Put up a sign on the door. "Bathroom closed after 8pm" and lock it...

Camper Bob, We had a 6 day trip with another couple who was staying in our bunkhouse. It was just the 4 of us and they did take advantage of the inside commode, even the husband. Her DH is who made the mess! Sorry for the TMI but, he stood up and because the bowl is so shallow w/little water, it went everywhere!! And, it smelled and I was not happy. My DH would prefer to use CG facilities but need be, he will automatically sit down to avoid "the wrath" of his DW!!

I have a story in this vein concerning my MIL, but I can never tell it because she is still alive!

With a group that big renting a prota pot would not be a huge expence for them if everyone chips in. You paid for your pot let them pay for theirs.

We have been there and done that, we just finally said EVERYONE has to use the public baths. Of course we still used them at night and first thing in the morning.
