First time using High Point convection oven

I am taking my 17RB hummingbird out for its first shake down and the wife is wanting to cook some pork chops in the High Point convection oven/microwave. I've never used one so I was not sure on the use and the instruction book is pretty vague. There is a glass rotation plate inside of it when using it as a convection oven do I need to remove the glass plate? And any other pointers on using it?

Well I figured it out kinda. I still pulled the glass out because it says microwave use only but did make some pretty awesome porkchops

We never take the glass plate out having the food rotate actually helps it cook more even.

I think the oven is more of a mystery to me than anything else in our Hummingbird......maybe that's why I stick to upgrades, maintenance, transport and outdoor cooking and let my better half worry about packing, interior design and indoor food prep.....

LoL. I'm the same way. But we figured out that we can leave the rack in and the little rubber feet. Only remove the glass for travel. I just toss it in one of our pillow cases so it doesn't slide out and break.
