We may be getting a bit off-topic, but it is the fools that continue to get chilly in their rain-soaked tents that 'have a problem' with our version of camping.

Been there. Done that.

I enjoy camping so much more this way.

I don't mind being called a glamper. Just because we're out camping, doesn't mean I want to abandon civilization entirely! That means bringing my espresso and steamed milk with me.

If that makes me a glamper, then I'm ok with it.

best coffee

I hope no one will think ill of us but after wrestling with perculators, french presses and all, we ran across Starbucks instant coffee in the small tubes at Costco. I have to say they make a great cup of instant coffee that doesn't taste like instant coffee. My wife still needs her flavored half and half but it works for us.

We use an old school 12 cup electric drip machine when camping. K-cups at home.

Use a mini Keurig with shore power and an Aeropress (AEROPRESS®) when just propane to boil water. The Aeropress makes an excellent cup of coffee especially with fresh ground. The grounds pop out in a nice round puck into the fire which makes cleanup much easier than a French press or percolater. The Aeropress is a must have, even when tenting.

And now to bedazzle my bean grinder and French Press! Seriously, the only thing that really matters is a good cup of coffee that gets your day off to a great start.
