check out jiva cubes (yes its spelled correctly). They make coffee into bouillon like cubes that just get dropped into hot water and dissolve in about 30 seconds for good hot coffee. They have flavors if anyone is into those as well. We use them in the RV and while backpacking. super light and small but satisfying...

I use an Aero-press. I can make my coffee as strong as I like and I don't have to start the genny if I'm dry camping.

AeroPress® coffee and espresso maker : Target

I'm another supporter of the aeropress, the convenience is great, but the flavor is the real reason to use it.

Tried the aeropress and couldn't get used to it. Went to a French Press and I like it!

So simple mad at myself for not thinking of it while boondocking! Bought a cheap Mr. Coffee for when we have power. Not going to turn on the genny just for coffee. Been buying the Starbucks Via's or the instant cappuccino stuff.

Country Mouse I found that when using starbucks via coffee the flavor is much better if you actually boil the coffee for 30 s to a minute. Sounds odd, but it makes the coffee taste better

No fancy-shmancy coffee maker for me. The DW picked up a vintage Regal electric 2-4 cup percolator and some Maxwell House breakfast blend coffee and I'm a happy guy.
