2007 Octane oven question

My sister and family are in Nashville with my Octane for the weekend. She used the microwave yesterday and today when she went to use it she gets two beeps with nothing else. She says the word clock and the : is lit up on the screen. I asked if she tried setting the clock first but pushing buttons gives only a beep with no change. Pulled fuse and let set for a while with no help. Any ideas I can pass along would be appreciated.

Its a sylvania model SC-11100 or SCL 06060544g.

So far all the results from other websites leads me to think I'm going to be replacing this piece of sylvania with something else. Thanks

OK, thanks for that.



If you go to www.sylvania.com and click on microwave ovens you'll be rerouted to a chinese companies website www.galanz.com and it would appear that the Chinese company supplies the microwaves to Sylvania who rebadge them.



For Customer service in the US, Sylvania list their number as 1 - 800 - 856 - 8977

Then they provide a link to www.galanz.com



There is no mention of any parts supplier so you would have to call Sylvania first to see where parts can be obtained from.

Hopefully they won't refer you to galanz.

Well I took it to the dealer to get covered under the ext warrantee I bought and the stupid thing started working when the tech started working on it. Same thing with the gas pump for the toys. I hate gremlins!
