2010 Recon Toy Hauler- grey water issues

Hi! We are new to the RV world and are having a few minor (hopefully) issues. My most pressing concern after 3 weekends in the new camper is the grey water tank backing up in the shower. I have heard that the sensors are notorious for being incorrect, and we have been very careful about conserving the fresh water- i.e. "military showers", kept dishwashing and other sink usage to a minimum. The first time I thought maybe my husband didn't dump it correctly, but since then we have watched closely and when we have dumped the grey water, we have kept the hose in the dumping station until there is no more water coming out! It just doesn't seem possible that we can have filled up 60 gallons of grey water after just 2 nights of camping! Any ideas or suggestions?

Along the same lines- does anyone know if there are 1 or 2 grey water tanks? The specs that I found online say only one 60 gallon tank, but why does my sensor panel show a front and rear grey and black tank gauge?

Hey there. We have an 08 Recon, it has two grey water tanks. One drain handle is in the compartment with the black and the other grey water handle is under the trailer in between the same compartment and the dump outlet. I'm pretty sure that is the drain for the front tank (shower and bathroom sink). I hope this helps.

Hi we have a '12 Recon (one of the last ones made), there is a gray handle and indicator on the panel for the rear. I have used the rear sink to fill it to its limit and it started coming up the rear toilet. So no rear gray tank.

I have a 2010 37F Recon and there are actually 2 handles for my gray tanks. One is for the rear and the other for the front tank. Is yours equipped with 2 handles in the control panel area?
