Fuel station

I've got an 09 jayco Recon with a short in the fuel station. Anyone else experience a problem with the gas pump not working?

I have an 09 jayco octane that had the same problem. I replaced to switch with a better one. Shorty after the whole pump failed. Lucky it was still a warranty repair.

Thanks for the response but it turns out it was the gears in the pump that were bad.

Fuel station leaking

I just purchased an 08 Recon and notice the fuel nozzle on the fuel station leaks once you turn on the pump. When I pull the lever to dispense fuel the leak stops and suspect the seals are bad in the nozzle. Has anyone had a similar problem? If so, how did you get this fixed. Is there a rebuild or repair kit for the fuel station to fix this? I suspect the seals have aged and shrunk over time causing the leak. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine was bad from brand new. I just replaced it with a 3/4" ball valve and an elbow and 4" nipple. I like the positive shut off with the valve. I wasnt impressed with the internals of the fuel nozzle.
