Bought a 2016 Seismic 4112 a little over a month ago,...then health problems have kept us from camping in it, though we've moved everything in and had slide covers put on kitchen and bedroom slide outs, washer/dryer combo with vent put in, all vent's/fans on roof have covers and we had a Winegard SWM3 Directv HD auto satellite installed on the roof....We've had time to do an extended PDI, thanks to graciousness of our dealer. Hoping to get it moved to home soon. It's our retirement RV.

Congrats NC!!! Wife and I are looking at moving out of our 2014 for a 4112. How did the SWM3 install go? You didn't put a slide topper on the door side slide did you? Hope any health issues are looking brighter and you can enjoy the rig this Fall. Oh which washer/dryer combo did you go with?

The install went great...Works like a champ...Didn't put slide topper on kitchen slide because main awning covers the slide out. We have the vented Splendide W/D combo XC2100...wife loves it. I'm hoping to get to use it this fall, but will have to wait and see...Dealer has allowed us to keep unit there and we've had an EXTENDED PDI.

Let us know if you get the 4112..wife really likes this unit

Well, looks like the new 4112 is a reality. Possibly PDI Friday. Jayco and my dealer has really been very supportive and great about the transition from our 2014 Seismic 3914 to this 2016. The support from Jayco Warranty on recent issues has been nothing less than outstanding. All options except dual pane Windows. Added Dometic enclosed slide toppers for ODS two slides and JayPlus Extended Warranty out to 7 years. Reports to come after a very comprehensive and detailed PDI. I let them know they may want to block out most of the day. First bad and rushed PDI shame on them (different dealer), second PDI gone bad would be Shame On Me. I will have nothing less than a very comprehensive report forthcoming!! Hopefully won't be much to talk about!

Well, there it is. The 4112. Traded in the '14 3914, for the new 4112. So much happier with the design and quality. Great PDI, 3 hours. Being a former Seismic Owner, I led the thorough inspection with some great folks from the dealer who followed my lead. We hit it all! A few minor write ups, very minor, other than that so far a perfect rig. And yes, even the Electric Leveling System did much better than the one on the 2014. It seems they have changed out some motors and controllers, etc for new changes. I will be putting it through its paces in the next few weeks. Stay tuned, but it sounds much healthier.

My hat goes off to the new Seismic Design crew for '16. They certainly have raised the bar. I do however have some improvement suggestions!!!

Took out the full JayPLUS plan as well. Continues the Jayco warranty past two years to 84 months, everything except structural. And it adds some great added coverage and reimbursements during the two year factory.

Oh, and the first modification/upgrade has been made. Slide Toppers, AGM Blue Tops (2 so far) and most important brought my 17.5" Goodyear G114 H rated shoes and rims from the '14. They only had 600 miles on them. And the Dealer reinstalled my TPMS repeater for me as well!

If anyone is interested in pictures or videos, please ask Id be happy to provide them.

Cue, big sigh of relief. Exhale.

View from the rear living space/garage. We were backed up to a cell phone monopole. Not much of a view but love the 3 season rear doors.

And the old '14 from our usual Spot at our favorite site here in CT. She brought lots of enjoyment for us, but lots of stress and heartache and headaches for ME.

I will be surprised if we don't jump from the bumper pull to a fifth wheel toy hauler next year. Wife has been looking a lot at them lately.... We take bikes and a golf cart everywhere so a regular fifth wheel won't work...

P25pc, Hows your truck doing towing the 4112...Have you been to a CAT scale yet? I'm really eager to hook up to mine...Still progressing after I had the stroke.

Longest PDI I've ever had,..Found several things wrong over a 3 month period and all has been fixed. .Now waiting to get some strength to tow...may sit till spring...just don't know right now.

New to the forum

Hi all We had a 2004 National Ragen 2930 5th wheel, hence the name Bob Ragen. We are down sizing and got a good deal on a 2007 Jayco Octane T24Z. I'm picking it up tomorrow. It appears to be in good shape, anyone have any info on them I should know about. The first two years with the Ragen which we bought brand new were rough with the issues we had.

Octain T31B

Hey everyone. Kind of new to the forum. I'm about to embark on my first trip with my Octane T31B. I've got a 2013 Victory Vision and my wife has a 2009 Yamaha FZ1. Getting all the necessary items packed for the trip. Wish me luck.

First Time TT Owner - Octane SL273 Toy Hauler

Taking delivery of my Octane SL273 Toy Hauler from Orlando RV this Saturday. Getting load leveling hitch installed as well. I'll be towing with my 2013 Ford F150 FX2 3.5L EcoBoost with 3.55 axle ratio. Looking to camping at some NASCAR races in the southeast and Florida RV beach campgrounds. Our "Toy" is an EZGO RXV 4 Pax golf cart to haul the grand kids around. Planning on some future fun for now.

Cheers!

Picked up our new 355W back in April. Have a couple short trips in so far. This is our third toyhauler, first Jayco.
Really like it so far. Some minor issues, it's in the shop right now getting them fixed. Have a week long trip planned week after next. And plenty of trips for the rest of the year.

I'm pretty sure we will!
This was only one of a select few that met our requirements.
It actually has way more than we wanted, but got a great deal on this particular one. The only thing it came with that I definitely could of done without is the tailgator kitchen. But who knows? It might turn out useful if I start using it.
