Onan gen in your TH

Have you had any problems from it and which model onan do you have in your TH ? I'm going to upgrade in TH to the octane series and presently have the Honda eu7000 and am very happy with it,so I would like to know if the onan is worth the investment when getting the TH , I can get it with a onan or not with one ,but the convience of the onan having it tucked away in a compartment on the TH makes it nice. Thanks

I have one in my Recon and have had zero issues. Change the oil,air filter yearly as I only use it while in motion and don't dry camp very often. I have the 5500.

We have had some issues, like 5 transfer switches smoked. Ours was over on Voltage(129 volts) and frequency. I just got home after picking it up from Onan dealer, new control board installed. under warranty of course. Very few Onan dealers out my way..........5500 watt gas installed by Jayco.

No issues of yet but you have one of if not the best generator ever built already. If I had to run mine all night it would be too loud as I just ran it 12
Hours straight powering fridge and freezers during power outage at home.
