Question Water tank and filters

We're getting ready for a 5 day trip and we'll be where there is no took ups nor water. My Octine has the two fuel stations. So that's ready. But here's my question. After I bleach out the water tank and then fill it can we drink this water? Or do you get a special filter to run the water through?
Thanks for your help

Lots of people drink the water after they sanitize that comes from the holding tank, some used bottled water, and some install a water filtering system. We drink bottled water. If I am boiling water for dinner, I use it from the tank. Just our preference.

Assuming you thoroughly rinsed out the water tank, hot water heater and water lines....the water is safe for drinking. If you are uncertain regarding the source water used to fill your tank, many people take "drinking" water in jugs, boil water, or use a something like Brita drip filtration.

I have been drinking and everything else out of my fresh water tank for 3 years and I full time. Why add extra expense and hassle when I have all of this fresh water right out of the tap?
