2017 Get-together ???

I know many of you were able to attend this year's "Get-Together" in Shipshewana ... and had a Great time meeting other owners to share info and experiences..

However, many were unable to attend due to commitments or Location (it's a long way to IN from CA).

So, I had proposed next year's location farther West for those on the West/Best Coast (lol)... I had suggested Southern Utah as a great location with it's nice weather and many National Parks (Zion, Bryce, etc.).

So, I asking how many fellow current/former "Precepters" would be interested in a Fall (Sept/Oct) gathering... to gauge if this is something to pursue and then begin task of researching locations/dates/activities, etc.

Thanks,

Mike

Ain't a Precepter, but my little Jayco LOVES campgrounds in proximity to golf courses - the more the better. Keeping the thread name intact would help.

I have a Greyhawk, but I'd go back to Zion!

Jeff...

RV and Golf are two of my favorite words in the dictionary!

St. George has 12 great, scenic golf courses..

2017 getogether

WILCUT - perhaps you should take a look at the first post in this thread; the individual who suggested this gathering stated to the effect, ".. former/present Precepters...". Since you're retired military and accustomed to regulations, maybe you'd care to "vet" all attendees to insure we're qualified to participate. 'Course there's an alternative, but being a retired military officer, I'd not sully my reputation by suggesting it.

We stay at Watchman Campground, Loop B in Zion which has Electrical hookups but no dump or water at the sites (there is a dump station there). Shuttles from the campground take you up into the Zion canyon or down into town for dinner, shopping etc. One note is that it gets HOT in the summer.

Sounds like Wilcut wants to limit it to Precepts only though. Maybe I'll crash the party in my Greyhawk anyway!

We'd be interested in attending too, late spring/early summer would be a great time to go.

We like the Temple View RV Park in St. George and although I'm really looking forward to seeing some other Precepts I would love to see your Greyhawk.

Thanks for the suggestions...
although the spring/summer is a good option my preference is
Late Sept/Early Oct based my already filled 2017 schedule and this
year's was during that timeframe.

I will research possible RV parks. My initial looking was centered
on places close enough to both St. George (shopping, golf, etc.) and
Zion and with Full Hookups and a Gathering/Hall site and possible group discounts.

Thus, possible options could include:
WillowWind RV in Hurricane
Zion River Resort (Virgin)

Zion Canyon (Springdale)
Watchman

Sounds like a blast if you open it up to Jayco 5th wheels too.... LOL. Using the old adage; the more, the merrier.

No problem we know you Precept people are special, just kidding. Let us know either way, always up for a good-time rally!

Full timers but still active duty AF, anxiously awaiting retirement travels where I have been told everyday is a Saturday
