Alante 26 X

We purchased last summer a 2017 Alante 26X It is our first MH, so we were not sure what to expect. Our first trip had some usual problems of which I was able to solve myself and the Jayco reimbursed me. Then Jayco said we are sending you an enhanced upgrade to your side view and backup camera. This is where the problems started We have made several calls and received many empty promises. With my last call to them I told them I would not call again. A company is only as good as its word.

Our factory installed backup camera is not the greatest but usable. There is a big difference between the quality and resolution of view between '08 and '17.

In our last motorhome the camera and monitor was so bad we chose to install a new system made by Rear View Safety. They make the best in the industry.

The up-grades arrived in yesterdays mail. Sometimes it pays to post problems in a public forum. The upgrades are in the form of computer chips that I will upload at a latter date. Thank you Jayco.
