Question alante front sway in wind

Even after the SafeTPlus bar this last trip was windy and the front end wanted to wander and sway side to side of the road . I read on line that there was some recall on alante year 2016-17 for sway or trac bars ? Anyone seen this ?
Also any new suggestions on front sway control ? I seen one list for someone using a Hellwig sway bar replacement anyone switched to some other brand also with good luck on improving front end sway ?
Thanks
Milo

Have you had it weighed, do you have enough weight on the front axle?

Several things you might do

Tire pressure, no one reports good handling at Jayco factory settings of 85 psi. I have mine at 95 and may go to 100 as a trial.

Weight, put your heavier items towards the front end.

Front end alignment, definitely a plus since Jayco doesn't do that to new coaches.

Steering stabilizer, definitely an improvement, less so if you tow.

CHF, cheap handling fix. Puts more tension on the body stabilizers to lessen body roll. Easy to do, on my list to do next.

After that I've seen people add new shocks, different body stabilizers, sumo springs, etc. but at this point you are reaching the point of diminishing returns.
Nothing will help on a windy day, you are driving a big sail down the road and the wind is going to push you around. Large trucks passing will push you to the side, can't change that one either. Good luck and let us know if you find a better solution.

Hard to correct against a gust of wind. Being aware of offer vehicles around you well slow to to react quickly when a semi goes by and it's wind pushes you over. I've found that if I know the semi is coming then I stay in my lane easily. However, if I am not paying attention at that moment and it comes up it can push me all the way over to the side of my lane fairly easily
