Clear viewing tube for Sani-con

Had gotten used to the clear elbow on the traditional sewer hose I had in the past. The Sani-con has its advantages but a drawback is not knowing when you have cleanly flushed. With so many Jayco motor homes with this system, has anyone installed a "view" tube on theirs? I called Thetford to see if they sold something like this and they don't.

Can you post a picture of the connecting parts?

You could add a section of clear pvc flexible hose. I haven't measured mine but I would guess it's 1 1/2" hose.

I have never seen one in person but I know it uses a much smaller hose than the traditional sewer dump hose. On the end do they have an adapter or something that flares out to the size of most sewer connection points? I ask because normally they want you to use those 90 deg elbows on the sewer connection. So is there a way you could add something to the end if it is the normal size? I know they make clear elbows for traditional sewer systems. Mine isn't totally clear but more of a transparent white color.

My sanicon has a clear piece that attaches to the RV outlet. This won't show the end of the line, but I just let it go a little longer after it runs clear out of RV. Then I dump my grey water so I'm sure my hoses are clear of any waste.

I talked again to Thetford and the lady told me it's 2 inch diameter. I need to find some and then try to attach it inline either on the tank side or on the "handle" one. They definitely don't sell anything like this. By the way, they seemingly have several models and the "turbo" is the one on my 35S Precept. Hope to post pictures tomorrow.

Jcoyle can you post a pic and did it come with your system or did you add it later?

The macerator hose has a threaded 90' connector on the end to screw into the sewer inlet fitting.
