Do you unhook the toad when leveling?

On a couple of overnight stays, I have left the toad hooked up when I spend one night. I was originally disconnecting the toad before leveling but have done it twice where I level with the toad connected. Opinions?

I never unhooked with either our 01 DESIGNER or the 08 SENECA.

Done it with my Seneca a number of times, never an issue.

I leave it in a pull through site and only take it off if you need it.

I have a 14ft aluminum trailer, that I either have Motorcycles or the Side x Side on it. Am I safe to leave that hooked to the hitch when I arrive and level as well? It is a pain in the ass to arrive, unload the trailer, then detach, then level the rig.

I would not expect any issues. You would have to be at some pretty extreme angles to cause any issues. Think about how many different angles the two units go through while driving. Pulling out of some parking lots can be pretty extreme. I suppose if you had to jack the rear of the tow vehicle way up in the air you might put a lot of stress on the trailer hitch.

Just so long as no one stealthily disconnects your toad and rolls it away. I always set the parking brake on the toad and put a note on my RV steering wheel to remind me to disengage before I drive away.
