Draining and Cleaning the Fresh Water Tank

The user manual for my 2016 Alante confuses me. Would one or two of my friends give me a quick primer on draining and cleaning my white tank? Thanks and Happy Father's Day to all [emoji1]

I just drain it out with low point drain. I will also use some to flush with to fill the blank tank to nearly full so it empties well.

Next time I get ready to go out I drop in 1/4 cup clorox and some water to sanitize. Not terribly fussy on that as we take along a gallon of drinking water for cooking and drinking.

Since city water has chlorine in it not much else is needed unless you get a bad smell in the water or growth in the tank if you can see it. Mine is under the bed so easy to check before we leave.

Is there any problem with leaving the "sanitizing" water in the tank/system for several weeks? I started sanitizing my water system and haven't got around to draining it out yet...

Thanks.

From some of what I have read bleach can be a bit corrosive on the piping and fittings. Not sure if this is true but I would flush it.
