Entertainment electronics
I have most of the control settings for the entertainment figured out on the 31ul. However, 3 issues still evade solution. 1) can I play the main tv through the cabin sound system? If so how? Also, my external stereo system wil not pair properly with my mobile devices. The connection shows as paired but the Bluetooth indicator never appears on the unit. I checked the manual for instructions and followed them carefully. Also this is a model number ending in BT so it does have the integrated Bluetooth. Any suggestions?

If you have an AUX IN on your stereo and an AUX OUT (or headphones) on the TV you can play through your stereo. Probably takes 1/8 plugs both side, just check your situation.
Note! Some 24" TV's and below might not have an AUX

Nancy, you will need to take 3 steps but your TV will play thru overhead speakers. It sounds much better too.
1) on radio menu set input to "Aux 2"
2) on TV menu select "set-up" and then scroll down to turn sound level to "Fixed". It will be in variable when you get there.
3) on TV menu select "audio" and scroll down to speaker - it will say on so turn it "off".
YES, you must go into the TV menu in two places to get results you want.
If you want to listen to TV thru it's own speakers again, you only need to go into TV menu audio and turn speakers back on again. No need to adjust the fixed setting as it will switch back automatically.

BTW - once you have sound thru overhead speakers, you adjust volume with radio - not TV remote.

Nancy, I do one thing differently than mowdoc which allows me to control the volume through the overhead speakers using the TV remote.
I skip his step 2, leaving the sound level set to "variable."
After turning the TV speaker to "off" in step 3, I then:
4) use the TV remote to adjust TV volume level as shown on the displayed slider on the TV screen to around 90 or 100. You may or may not hear audio at this point depending on how the radio volume knob is set.
5) use radio volume knob to adjust the sound you hear to a level slightly higher than your comfort level.
The TV remote can then be used to adjust the volume or mute the sound from the overhead speakers. You can also mute the sound by pushing the radio volume knob in briefly.

I have never been happy with the ceiling speakers in my rig. I am playing around with some separate speakers to wire to the tv in place of the tiny in set speakers. I tried a sound bar but could not a place to mount it in my disappearing tv set.

Norty, it is a very easy job to replace the overhead speakers with better ones. I got some nice Pioneer speakers for $60 a set and they really woke things up! The wiring Jayco used is fine.
Later, I put more JL speakers in floor at front of cab and a large JL sub woofer along with a JL marine amp. Movies are loud and clear and the bombs in war movies will make you duck!!
The guys at the stereo shop laughed when they saw the speakers Jayco installed and told me they are $2 speakers then showed me some in a catalog.
Now, I went completely overboard because I like music but my point is for only a few bucks and 30 minutes with a screwdriver you can make the TV sound great. Simple job.
