Question Fell off the wall again - Valence Over TV

The valence over the large tv in the living room (and holds the pull down shades) fell off the wall about a month ago. We installed it back using wall anchors. Well you guessed it, the wall anchors pulled out of the pressboard and the valence fell down again over the weekend.

Anybody have a permanent fix for this? Hate to run to the dealer for this issue as dealer is two hour drive away.

I have had good luck with these anchors in thin paneling, they hold about 60# each.

Is it possible to move the valance angle brackets to a different spot underneath? It may not be the case, but look carefully on the wall for small brad heads, usually covered with like-colored putty. That's where there's a stud in the wall. If a bracket is screwed down at that spot, it'll hold better. Maybe a couple additional brackets under there.

Here is another option. I have used these wall anchors on the tv valance and then mounted a sound bar on top of the valance. No problems. I used them on my older coach with great success. You can find at lowes or home depot .
