Good info!

The thread on another forum no one uncovered the axle and diff change. We do know the cab sticker on the 17 model 31ul says 228 inch wheelbase from memory, but it actually measures 190. Ford allows the end manufacturer to change the wheelbase (longer or shorter) to suit their needs.

Actually the wheel base doesn't get changed but the coach manufacturers weld a longer frame to the end of the Ford frame. Under my 35S there are huge plates they used to to attach the extension to the frame to make it longer. Hopefully the welds are good!

Picked my 2016 Precept 31UL two weeks ago! Same configuration. The Shower door had to be replaced and they rewired the Bedroom AC, other than that the PDI went great! Can't wait to get on the Road.

New Class A "Shake down"

Looking good for our next adventure "Kentucky Lakes" shake down identified a sticky LP Gas valve on "Tank less Water Heater" for now it's a use a small hammer to resolve, new valve to be ordered under warranty.
