Welcome to the forum.

I am not familiar with auto leveling systems but others on this forum may be able to help. Please provide some information regarding your Jayco unit - Year, Model, etc. - for them.

This thread briefly discusses the jacks and has link to troubleshooting. Not sure if this will help, but may be a place to start. Welcome!

Auto level will only start when the coach is inside a limited amount of degrees off level. I suggest you manually recalibrate the unit as close as possible using the steps in that link. Use a pan of water or similar if you have no level available.

It may be that your calibration is off enough that the extra off level you are parked in is throwing it all out of range. Getting the calibration corrected will allow max auto adjustment in real world parking.

There could be times for us all where the place we are parked in is just too much off level for the system to begin. In those conditions you can use manual level to get it close and then use the auto function to finish up once inside the perimeters of the system. Hope that makes sense to you.

There is one more very important fact we all need to know. The coach MUST remain very stable when the auto level is in operation. That means everyone must sit perfectly still while the system works. Even waving an arm can shake the coach enough to cause it to stop the procedure.

Best practice is to have all passengers step outside and away from the coach. Then you sit down and be very calm while the system levels the coach. This is why it has the "Wait" light. This gives the coach time to "settle down" after you start the system.

The worst thing you can do during auto level is shake or move the coach in any way.

We live in Winfield which is in the Okanagan which is British Columbia Canada. We are known for the fruit apples cherries apricots and grapes which we produce a hugh amounts of great wines.Where we are the grapes are be coming our # 1 crop we produce a lot of fabulous wines getting well known all over the globe. We don't really get much snow this is why we have a lot of retired folk living in the area because the weather is so mild.
