Picking up my 2015 Jayco Precept 35UP on Thursday

Very excited about picking up our new RV on Thursday
2015 Precept 35 UP.
Would love some advise from experienced Jayco RV ers to give me tips on what to focus on during walk through
Any advice from all but, particularly 35 precept owners
Thanks!!!

Golferdave78, I posted this on the Precept Owners Group but just in case you miss that, here is the PDI=PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION.
http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f3...ist-18379.html
This is a must when taking delivery of a RV. Don't write a check until all items are marked off.
Good luck

Crawl under the vehicle with a creeper and flashlight and note anything that is sloppy like dangling wires

OMIGOSH! SWMBO and I had a modification done today at our Jayco dealer. Next to our Whitehawk 20MRB was a new Jayco Precept. Now I see why all of you are so happy with this unit!

It was GORGEOUS!

Congratulations, Dave!

Picked up my 2015 Precept 35 UP

We picked up our Precept 35 UP on Thursday in Albany NY and drove home to Atlanta.
I appreciate all the tips about the walk thru, especially about the drivers seat.
I'm 5'5 and had them unbolt the seat and position it forward, big difference.
Camped out 2 nights, relatively no issues driving or camping.
My biggest issue was a cable TV signal that was "snowy"
Thanks for the tips!!!

Dave, CONGRATS. Have you found your TV antenna amp button? Mine is located in the overhead compartment above the passenger seat. If the amp is "on" a very small (usually green) light will be on. To watch cable, you want the amp and light "off".

Hello, I just signed up in the forum and want to ask a question. While searching the forum I saw you had a 35up which is what I have. I have a power lift tv by my dinette and was wondering how I can get to the back of it for the hdmi input. I have an Apple TV box that I can plug in there but not sure (since its powered up and down) if we should plug in there. Any help ?

Mron, I have a 2016 up. use the interface box in the cabinet next to the blue ray player. it has four HMDI input ports. port one is the blue ray player. Plug your Apple TV into any of the other three Input ports. you can select any input to be played on any or all of the TV's.

hdmi

in my 2015 my dvd is up front and there wasn't any ports up there, just a 12 volt power point. Up above the tv there is only the coax things. However I found out I can hook directly into the tv from the side when its half way up. Thanks for your input
