Precept 35UN Sofa bed

For Precept owners, what is the dimensions of the Sofa Bed on the 35UN? The online specs state 36x76, but that seams odd since the sofa sits three people.

Thanks

Those numbers are pretty close to actual floor space required for the sofa. In other words, outside dimensions.

The seating area on mine is a little deeper than many household sofas, I'm talking butt and upper leg room. I am 6 feet tall and I can lie down "inside" the sofa but my heels will be up on arm at that end. My wife at 5 feet 6 inches can lie down inside easily, even use her pillow. She does that while watching TV and I recline in the driver chair rotated toward the TV. We got a nice foot stool at Wally World that has a hinged top where we store the vacuum that cleans the floor.

I only opened the sofa out one time, just to see how it worked, and I don't remember the bed size. I do remember it was larger than I thought it would be. A small couple or kids could sleep there nicely.

And, YES, the sofa would seat three adults with no problem. 4 if they were friendly.

OK, I'm home now so I measured the sofa.

Outside measures 78 by 32 (36 from wall to front, there is some dead space behind) and inside, the actual seating area, is 67 by 22. As I said, 3 people sit easy and four if friendly. Two couples could sit but it would get small quickly.

Thanks for the replies. So it sounds like the bed is a full or queen size.

As a bed it is really uncomfortable! The center section is a good inch and a half lower than the top and bottom. I may try an air mattress or make an insert to go under the center. Anyone else have a solution?

I guess you might buy a cheap topper that you could roll up and store under the couch.

As a bed, we use king sheets but I use 2 flat sheets since the fitted are difficult on the bed. It is pretty much a king but not a true king bed. Definitely larger than a queen.

Very uncomfortable as a sofa or as a bed- pure junk. i ordered a replacement sofa with recliners on both ends and swing in tables and heated seats -- but this does away with one bed area - but worth getting something that could be used to sit in comfortably while on the road or while in a park.
